Hi Shaun
I like your logo, its classy and striking, but as for your business card, do you plan on putting more info on it to let people know what kind of deals you are looking for ie: buying/selling single family etc etc like Dean says.Just a thought!
Wish you well and lots of success
sue
I have other business cards also that I hand out that say we buy houses and things like that. On these I think I am going to put on the back in big letters $1,000
and then in smaller letters put something like if we buy a house you tell us about we will pay you $1,000
or something like that. Not for sure yet!!!
Shaun
Hi again
That ought to make people sit up and take notice!
I know if I had a deal for you I'd certainly take you up on it.
Sounds good.
Sue
I really like the card and the logo! Good job!
Success and Nothing Less!
I like the look, very classy! If you have 2 sided cards you can put more information on the back like what you specialize in...foreclosures, probates, buying, selling...that's my 2 cents... It really looks great!

Looks great! I see someone who means business with style! It's clear and to the point. B/W. It's simple and great. This is important when making a first impression. I agree with Dawn add more details on the back, no one likes clutter..... Go Shaun your in business! Continued success.........Lubertha

It's straight to the point and it's an eye-opener b/c it stands out well. Good work!

Simply SMASHING logo and card. You did an excellent job!!!!
Do you plan on putting your mailing address on the card? Also, alot of people look at free email addresses in a negative mannor - as if you are not serious, not in the business for the long haul. Also, do you have an 800 number? You may get more calls that way.
Kat
Hi Shaun,
You did a great job! Looks so professional.
I have one thought - seeing if you can soften just a bit the "points" in your logo. They are sharp and that coupled with the color scheme come off to me looking like a weapon or barb wire-like -- sharp, dangerous and cold, though I could be the only one who's mind goes there!
Thanks for sharing it with us.

Those are both some good thoughts!! Nancy your mind might be the only one that does go there but I do see what your saying!! lol... I will see what I can do with it!! Kat I am working on getting my website going so I can get rid of my "free" email address... That is one thing that I do not like!! And I forgot about my mailing address... I guess I should put that on there too!! Thanks for the feedback guys!!
anyone else??
Thanks for the critique. Yes it is original and I had 1 card that had the logo smaller and it just didn't look right so I decided to go with this one! Yeah just make a new post and attach your file with your business card so everyone can look at it!!
Goodluck,
Shaun
Wondering what we can place on the business cards such as: "Name Properties", "Name Realty", "Company Name" this later having to be legally registered? Other questions such as a fax machine...I don't have one yet and if you don't put a fax number on your biz card do people look less at it versus ones that do have a fax number? Is it less professional? What about a website? Not yet having subscribed to Dean's website I wouldn't know how to handle anyone calling my home for the first time. Then if my kids answer the phone how does that look? I don't know if these are excuses but seems like they're obstacles and carry a lot of fear. Looking for some mentored advise and clues in how to move beyond the nubie stumbling block of shadows because I sure would like to be in the renaissance of real estate and not the dark age concerns. Thanks.

You can't use a "Realty" company name for your business on your business cards. You're not a R.E. Broker! You're a R.E. Investor! Choose a LLC name (make sure its available through your State office where corporation names are filed) for business. You don't want to mislead people by using a "Realty" company name that's strictly reserved for Brokerage companies only. Do you get what I'm saying? For example, I can't name my investment company, Williams Realty because that will give people the impression that my company is a Brokerage firm when in fact it isn't. Those type of company names are strictly reserved for used by R.E. Brokerage firms. Concerning the fax machine, you don't have one right now. Don't worry! You can get a fax number from here efax.com if anyone faxes you anything it will go directly to your email. If you use gmail you can save it to Documents in gmail.
Again, if you don't have a website right now don't worry about that. Get those sort of things done over time. Unless you have a very smart kid (or teenager) who likes building websites! Otherwise, get one built down the road.
Worried about the kids answering the phone, I know I have one too, put your cell phone (if you have one) number on your business cards. Anyone calling your Ads or signs will call that number Or you can get a separate line installed in your house or you can use a VOIP number from Skype (which you can get from Skype.com) or any other VOIP provider (e.g. Vonage) to receive phone calls over the internet in your office or dedicated space that you use for your home office. I hope I have answered all of your concerns.

Great!
What I did was get the magicjack. I've been using magicjack for my home # for 2 years now. I am planning on getting another magicjack for my fax. You can get magicjack at your local best buy or magicjack.com
I love it, I think it's very sharp looking (maybe a little too dark) but I love the design, great job and good luck.
I have to say it is wonderful! Did you do it yourself? If you did what program did you use? I'm using paint and an extremely old version of Adobe photoshop. I'm wondering if I can use Publisher. I'll have to get an opinion on mine in a separate message. I didn't realize you could upload images! I agree with PP about putting more info on the back, but it looks good. If you need free voicmemail and fax #, you can use k7.net (TOTALLY FREE!)
Shaun, I like the ALCO, jumps right out at ya. good Job...Jan

I did do it myself... I used Photoshop CS4...
