My First Realtor

My First Realtor

Well today I contacted my first realtor. Stopped by a foreclosre a few weeks ago and she was the open house realtor.I swear the phone weighted about 200lbs. Am in the Success Academy and am up to Assignments. I am so anxious for this to work. It just has to. I am to old to start over again. This is it. So I was glad to get that first call out of the way. Was on the conference call last night. And Joe said to try to stick to the smaller financial institutions. So I am going to call our local credit unions. Thought that was a great idea. I feel like my niche will be birddogging. Well at least for now. Of course when we get some capital under our belts I look forward to being able to buy my own home. Along with lots of others. I feel like a deer in headlights when it comes to starting my buyers list. I am in Sacramento, CA. Is there possibly any DG people up here? Any words of wisdom or advice would be greatly appreciated. HERE'S TO OUR SUCCESS!

Just rememebr to always be consistent and persistent! Be sure to network and make contacts. Today's contacts can lead to tommorow's deals! Good luck with real estate investing and I look forward to reading about your progress and future real estate deal! Believe and Achieve! Smiling - Joe

P.S. Here is another forum link I did about some pointers for contacting your local banks and credit unions:

Christina, you're never too

Christina, you're never too old to make money.

You might want to look at out of state investors for your buyers list; lots of non-residents like to buy out of state and i'm sure if you can explain to them the areas you know about and the benefits of investing in those areas, the sale should not be too hard.

However, make sure you know what you're doing and your paperwork is correct; if you know what you're doing but you're not protected thats a recipe for disaster.

Never be afriad or too proud to ask questions; closed mouth don't get fed and that applies to knowledge.

Good luck to you

Encouragement

Thanks for your input. Will check out your suggestion regarding out of state investors. The unknown is always scary! But oh so exciting to. I'm a sponge soaking up all of the knowledge and wisdom that everyone is passing on to me. Appreciate it.

Chris

First Realtor

There are times where you will decide to go on to another realtor. You need to be comfortabale with the Realtor you are working with.
