Inspiration from Matt Larson

I want to be like Matt.

I'm new in REI, and stil reading and studying every word as I am new to everything... I love watching video and reading the journal of Deans successful students.

Going to start putting the 25:1 game plan into effect. I have a star real estate agent who is hungry and, ready to play the game, Kick off starts Nov 1st in central Iowa, Go Hawks.....and"da bears" and I found a private money backer. Now we can really play the game all out.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you get a chance to read all of Dean's books. I also hope your husband gets home safe and soon. Matt and Dean have bought a lot of homes in the Michigan area.

Thanks for stopping by. If you do what Matt has all ready done you will have a lot of success in REI. I know you will have more success than the Chicago Cubs. I feel the pain there also. I hope Da Bears contenue to have a good season.

It's fun to see how far Matt has come. Watch his video and see how uncomfortable he was for his entry to the "Send me away Dean" contest. Compare that video to his newer videos.

I spent a fair amount of time trying to implement Matt's 25:1 plan but was unable to find willing teammates in my little town. However, that hasn't stopped me from taking action. Where there is a will, there is a way! Now that I am no longer on the sidelines reading the playbook and have started getting my feet wet, I see that I have learned a great deal. Now, I see options when I look at a house where before I only saw the house.
I guess that's the next step towards completing a deal.

Ready or not, here I come!

Hey you are from Matt's home area. I feel the same way about Matt and his videos. I have seen his first video and now he is the man. I have met with Matt a few times now and he is an awsome person to talk with he realy knows REI.

Any thing that is new is freightening.But steady practicing makes one become perfect.If we continue to ask our self "THE WHY" MEANING why are we going out of our comfort zone, to do this, our answer should be the motivational factor to make us get off of the bench and become a star player in the REI GAME.If Matt and others can do it so can all of us if we stay focused and keep pressing on regardless of barrers.

That was well said. We can all do this and be as good of a player as Matt. We only have to do the same things he has had success with.

I just happened to come across this post. I wanted to say thank you. It helps to reinstill in me that REInvesting or investing and being an entreprenuer is more than just taking action. It is the mental mindset that makes all the difference in the world! I (as well as countless thousands of other people I'm sure) really need to shift/change my mindset to want to be that person at the center of things to "make that play/deal". We will never succeed if we are content to watch others "make the plays/deals/success" that we could and should be making. So to everyone, lets change our mindset to be the star player and make those game changing decisions. See you along the way and at the top.

Hi Jahaira. REI is like the lottery in the fact that if you do not play you can not win. We all have to start some where and getting started is the hardest part.

I like what you posted. I recommend to everyone to read Dean's book Totally Fulfilled because I believe it will change the mindset that people have for the better. When you are in the right mindset that is when the success comes.

I have had the opportunity to teach personally with Matt Larson, and to see him in action in several cities around the country. I have also had the chance to see him as a new student in the Success Academy to grow into the Rock Star Guru that he is now. Matt is a perfect example of the saying "Everything Is Hard Until It Gets Easy". and the only thing that makes it easy is just doing it. He is also a great example of "practice makes perfect,,,,,, but perfect practice makes winners" Success didn't come overnight for Matt. Real estate is not a "get rich quick" program. He has proven, as others have proven before him that it is a "get WEALTHY over time" type of a business. Don't just work to change your current situation, work to change your life" Be patient, Be Persistent and you will find the success that you are looking for.

I love the quote that Matt Walton stated "Everything is Hard until it gets Easy" because its true! REI is a wonderful avenue to change your life. it will be hard until it gets easy. But everyone can do hard things. This is your business get out there and "make" it happen. BE the SUPERSTAR!

so true. When you look at REI like a job I was working a lot harder making $5.00 a hour than what I get paid now. That is a very good way to look at REI when you start out it is hard then it gets easier.
