"Been forever since posted in there! Guess just comes a time when what started as an accountability tool....becomes NOT needed after awhile! LOL
Just an update and sharing a bit of excitement.....**UPDATED** Official Freedom Date: 12/16/2011!!! Walking away from the JOB! - o.k. running from it - bbhhahahaah!
a job = it comes a point when it's actually costing you money. lol Get out there and replace your job! Buy your life back! Break free from bondage! Live your life on your terms!
Keep pressing forward, you CAN do anything you make your mind up to do. BUT you have to put the work behind it! You will have to make some changes (mostly with yourself), you will have challenges and obstacles to overcome, you will have to make sacrifices, you will get beat up quite a bit, will will have scrapes, bruises and bloody battle wounds, you will get knocked down....BUT you will hit huge milestones, you will have huge victories, you will overcome, you will pick up momentum, you will have people that once blew you off, calling to try and get 20 min of your time, you will make more in your business than you ever could in your J.O.B. (just over broke - lol)! IF you don't quit! REMEMBER: Doing whatever it takes does not come with terms and conditions.
Owe everything to my Lord and Savior! He is my strength. Everything I am, everything I will be, all the impacts I will make, lives that will be forever changed because I lived.....all because of Him and FOR His Glory!
Without a doubt huge gratitude and my life forever changed because of Dean.
Debt of gratitude and a life of service to the two that made the biggest impacts on me: Dean and Matt. Thank you so much which doesn't even begin to scratch the surface of what overflows from my heart!

LOL! I actually did 'LOL' on the 'retarded' comment! I could see where that could be mis-understood! Heck Trent (just turned 14) and is the process of tansitioning into heck what do you call the stage between: child/teen/man/hormonal woman/menapause all morphed into one! Shoot, who am I kidding, just about need to quit to handle full time the multiple personalities. One minute he's climbing trees in the backyard with the neighbor to checking out chicks at the store to sounding like one! Sorry could help myself! It is a little funny! bhhahaaha!

Awesome news! Our goal is to get my husband out of a job by the end of the year, but we don' t have much time. We just started our REI journey with the Rock Bottom Blue Print in August of 2011. We had never thought seriously about real estate before, but we somehow got funneled into the webathon and then bought the program and did a deal. We just joined the Academy yesterday and we now have 2 more deals working (1 has the contract assigned, just waiting to close). We have a direct mail campaign started where I have sent letters to 200 people out of a list of 1300 names and we have taken in about 15 calls and I think there might be a potential for 2 deals so far. We will continue mailing to the rest of the list too, so I think it'd be great to get 10 deals off that list, then I will probably mail out to the list again and hopefully have more ideas on how to pull in deals from our coach. So, maybe with all this going on, we can get Steve out of a job by the end of January. I'm so friggen excited to be working with the Academy. I'm hoping it's going to shorten our learning curve by a bunch because I keep tripping over my own feet and as much as you have to make mistakes to learn, it's painful to do so.
Anyway, I love hearing stories like yours. Sorry for the rambling. I just know our goals are pretty intense, so I have to put them out there to keep us accountable. If we miss our deadline by a month or so, that's still pretty good. I hope to meet you and the other cool DG'ers very soon. -Susan

but then, who's counting? i am. i'm so excited for you and hope to follow in your footsteps very shortly. you've done amazing things and hope to hear more about what all you've done here lately. i'll go check out your journal right now. what a way to celebrate Christmas and New Year's!!!

AWESOME!! Congrats Susan on your 1st deal! That is terrific!! Commend you guys for taking the steps, investing in yourselves and your future in proven sources that WILL change your future if you follow the teachings. Learn, take action - rinse and repeat! You CAN get Steve out of a job, you can have the life you want. Keep making it happen. Set your self up to retire NEVER having to re-hire! You can do anything you set your mind to! Refuse to be denied!

Thank you Lenee! Appreciate that so much! Girl, PLEASE don't take this the wrong way and know my heart when saying this, but know my boss/co-workers are naysayers. I will and do not speak those things (or even write) over my life. I will not breathe life in to any comments I received that do not line up with my belief. I have and WILL prove them all lies! I rebuke them all, stand firm on my belief, my power and the truth. God says no weapons formed against me will prosper. That I can do all things through Christ that strengths me. I am blessed and favored. He has plans to prosper me, give me hope and a future. I am the head not the tail. I am blessed going in and coming out. I am an heir to the throne!
