I took up the chasing all about this main site without you. Wasn't as much fun.
We didn't get to talk about how your knee held up today. But I hope that phone call and meeting were extremely productive in the forward direction.
With this post I'll have met a little insignificant goal on time. 1000 points on the nose.
Now on to getting forum 4 done and in before the 15th. (another think tank one and maybe one that will get people involved.)

Sorry, I haven't been here for awhile. But I have been keeping busy.

My realtor is still hanging in there! Unbelievable! Since she did rehabs herself for ten years, she thinks this is really fun. I think it's fun having a realtor!

Last Friday we planned to go look at four properties. Since the camera on my Blueberry had filled up on me I arranged to go to Daughter #1's office to pick up her camera.

On the way up to the 3rd floor, the elevator stalled! GREAT!!!

Luckily, I had phone service in there, so I called my daughter to let her know where I was since I had been talking to her as I pulled up to the bldg.

Unluckily, since I had figured this realtor may not stick around any longer than some of the previous ones, I had not programmed her number into my phone. Since this was the first time we had gotten together since the "no show" day, I REALLY didnt want to be the one who "no showed" this time!

I pushed the alarm and very quickly my white knight appeared (without his horse, of course).

He was actually pretty funny, because he was scared to death that I was going to panic. I kept assuring him, "Don't worry. I'm fine. I promise, I am not a panic-er!"

He couldn't pry the doors open and he had to climb on top of the car. He finally got them to open and helped me climb up the foot or so to get out.

I still got to the meeting place before the realtor!

Three of the props were expired listings, so we stopped by to see if they were still interested in selling. Two didn't answer and the third said they had decided not to sell. She left he card so maybe we will hear from them. They were all three in very nice neighborhoods. One was actually across the street from Christina Applegate's house.

The fourth was in a neighborhood with smaller homes but well kept. There were three structures on the prop. The house in front was a 3/2. In back was a 2/1 apt and attached to that was a 1/1 apt. Actually, just mostly needed cosmetic work and kitchen counter tops--that type of stuff. Unfortunately, in doing my due diligence, the back bldgs are not permitted.

Realtor called again last night and is going to try to find some things to go look at on Thurs.

That one was getting so long, I thought I would break it up for you guys.

Well, unfortunately, I started back to work last Sat. It isn't really so bad. I have just gotten used to being home and doing RE. It was good to see everyone there and with that type of job you really have minimal supervision. And at least I have insurance. That is the main thing!

This week I am just staying for about 4 1/2 hrs each day, so that is easy, too. My boss told me for the first two weeks I can plan my own schedule, so I am loving that. And I will only be working four days a wk! Not bad!

So many people would be thrilled to have any job! I really am thankful.

I am sure that most all of you have seen that the results for the Edge 2011 scholarship have been posted.

I am SO very fortunate and thankful to have been chosen one of the winners!

I never let myself get excited about it beforehand and tried not to even think about it after I submitted my essay. I didn't want to get my hopes up.

I want to thank Jim for all the work he put into it. Even though he is very grumpy, he has a heart of gold!

And thanks to everyone who contributed and then judged the contest. I know that some of you are not going to be able to attend yourselves due to finances, so I am so honored with your unselfishness.

I only bought one other domain name besides my GriffmoreProperties.com- Jim bought every name available! There was only one left!

I bought LeaseOptionSpecialists.com. It is still parked right now tho.

I'm glad you liked the little houses. After it was finished, I wondered if they looked to "baby", but I think they are so cute, so "What the heck!"
We already talked about the tapping on PM.

The first thing you must do is read, read, read the books and this site. And study, study, study. It will require a lot of work and a lot of time. But if you make up your mind not to give up, you can be successful.
