REAL ESTATE AGENT SEARCH

REAL ESTATE AGENT SEARCH

Can someone please provide me with the magic trick of sparking an agents interest. I have tried several different approaches already, and am coming up empty handed. I want to do a ton of deals, but really want an agent there with me, or there for me as it were. Anyone have an extra one they can loan out Smiling)

I can assist you in VA as well. I am highly motivated to work with investors. All my sales last month were with investors. I am an investor myself and understand their special needs.

Looking for RE agent in Maryland....

Looking for Realtor/Investor and RE Attorney/Investor

Hi Fellow DG Members,

I am looking for realtors and attorneys in the Baltimore, Maryland area who would be willing to become part of my team. I am new to REI and am DESPERATELY trying to get started. I know that I have yet a lot to learn, but I am very serious about being successful with REI. Right now it is more of a NEED for me to make this work.

I have tried one thing after another to improve the financial circumstances of my family over the years. I have spent tons of money I didn't have on "business" attempts. I'm tired, but I'm a very hard worker and am definitely willing to try and I never give up. So, now I'm trying this.

I don't mean to sound like I'm having a pity party, but I want everyone to know how serious this is for me and my family. So please, if there is anyone out there in my area that would be willing to work with me please contact me ASAP.

Thanks,

Verna (newage8768)

Hi,

Have you tried calling different real estate offices near you and just ask if there are any agents in those offices that have experience with working with investors? That is what I did and I always seem to get someone who previously worked with investors. I got a bonus too, the agents that I got were also investors so they understand out plight! LOL

Also, what techniques are you using to locate an agent? If you share how you are going about your search, maybe there is someone who can give you some pointers that may help.

Good luck with the searching. Don't give up!

One good way to find an agent

Would be watching the paper for new agents most are eager to find clients.
Or say you have certain area of town you want to buy in ask who has that farming area.
While a agent can sell anyhing listed often they know the most about a area they work
called there farming area.
or licensing boards or board of realtors.
Or go to the schools that train them just before graduation see who you click with.

Real Estate Agent

I will be glad to help people in my area, plus I want to learn from an experienced investor. Right now, there are tons of REOs on the market and the REOs seem to be what's selling. The great thing about our market is that if there is anyone who buy homes for rentals...my area is the perfect location. Home values are down right now, but we are expecting 30,000 new people moving to our area (Columbus GA - Phenix City, AL) b/c of the BRAC Realignment @ Ft Benning. The Armor Division at Ft Knox is being relocated to Ft Benning and this move will be finalized by Sept, 2011 (so we are told).
Not all of these people are going to be able to purchase homes. We have people calling all the time about rentals and there doesn't seem to be many available.

Atlanta builders have moved in to our area and are "preying upon" our military buyers. LOL They are building 3,000 sq ft homes for $200,000 right by the base. The military people love it. Of course, the local builders are not happy since they have taken over. These Atlanta builders are building 400 to 600 houses in one neighborhood. When the soldiers have to PCS out of here, many of these homes will be foreclosures b/c they will still be building new construction homes in the same neighborhood.

Also, the new KIA plant is located within 35 to 40 minutes from our area. Please take the time to check out our area & see if you are interested in investing and let me know.
