I am in Aurora and i have been investing in real estate for about 5 years.
i purchase Dean's book approx. 15 days ago an love the info.
Last week i put an offer on two properties one short sale and one reo.
Just waiting to hear back.
Another way is i go to the sheriff sale at the courthouse and watch for all of the houses the bank take back then i contactthe bank and make an offer on the ones i want.ican do my title search from home. I also do probate properties.

Jerry - are you working with an investor? Would you be willing to share? There's a great property that just came up, but I'm short on funds.
Re: the courthouse method. . . . .so you wait until AFTER the sale, and contact the banks on the ones that didn't sell?
