States with the most miserable housing markets

So what does it mean for me, Since I LIVE in that lovely Number 1 state? Does this mean that there are even BETTER deals to be had? Or that it's going to be tougher to get anything moved and thus make my money?
Or does it even matter, given the brilliant strategies Dean has given us to work with?

Susan, it all comes down to how you look at it. You can look at it from the author's point of view, that you live in the #1 most miserable state, or you can see it as the state with the #1 opportunity.

Find a realtor that works with investors. Ask them if they work with re investors, if they say yes, ask how many. After getting their answer ask them what are their investors doing to make their money? Take his answer, find the strategy for it and run with it!

Keep an eye on local news and check out any local community or economic development agencies that might be receiving grants to help rebuild and fix up these communities, they will be looking for someone to do it for them, that's where you can come in.....and not just the rebuild of any community if needed but they may receive assistance to help people by their first home, save their home, buy homes for affordable housing....someone has to help them do this...why not you...
