U.S. Housing May Not Recover Until 2014

This headline is what we have been predicting since 2008 as the housing crisis gripped us. Different parts of the country could recover a year sooner or later but 2014 has been our target. Negotiate the market carefully and play it smart. This is a tricky market. You can read the whole story here:

Recovery

Thanks Bill,

As I posted a few days ago, the housing values (except in 9 metro cities)are dropping at the rate of 1% per month. Be aware if you buy now at FMV you are losing. The only way to buy now is to quick flip after buying at a discount, unless your have renters and plenty of capital to carry you when the renters are NOT able to pay due to the layoffs, economy, gas prices and food prices skyrocketing.

Remember, your mortgage payment is still due whether your tenants pay or not. The bank don't care whether YOUR tenants paid you or not, they want to be paid.

Don't find yourself in the sinking ship with the others that did NOT plan properly and add to the foreclosures and lawsuits.

I agree Mike

that's why I post caution for MOST readers on this site; they just don't have the experience or emergency funding for this type of market.(No offense meant to anyone) Sure, there are people who can do it and sometimes do it on their first time out. But you also have to remember that a broken clock is right twice a day.
