A plethora to choose from

That is a great list of ways to build a buyers list.
The key to building a good buyers list is to have a few different strategies going at the same time. My suggestion is to have 3-4 different ways of finding buyers going. This allows you multiple streams coming in at the same time, and offers you the ability to build that list quickly. Choose 3-4 that appeal to you, then go for it. Test it for a few weeks and measure your results on each. Those that aren’t producing, throw them out and move to another strategy. Make sure you have 3-4 going at all times.
Go get em!

Thanks for #65

Recently discovered a section of my newspaper advertising real estate auctions -- getting ready to visit and do some networking next weekend. Hope I see plenty of investors there; been having a difficult go of it in growing my buyers' list.

Thanks for the tips; wasn't too sure of visiting the auction at first Smiling

FINDING BUYERS

Hi Roy,

Great advice my friend on finding buyers. I personally find buyers via websites like craigslist.com and I will do search for "buy houses" then search the ads that I like and call them. I also like to find them at auctions and real estate club meetings, where I can talk to them in person and get them qualified.

Thanks,
Shah Ali

These are great ways, but there are better

I use prop trend to find buyers. I worked on a list i created in prop trend and found hundreds of buyers. I then went to yellow pages and google and found a ton of phone numbers I can call directly to them.

The buyers on prop trend are legit, they have cash and are closing. I can now follow up on them and get them on my buyers list.

If you don't have prop trend you can create the same kind of list from your agent. They can look up all the cash sold properties on the MLS and you can follow up to see who the buyer was and their address on the county records. I've been doing that for years and it works great.
