Another Great way to FIND BUYERS!!!

Another Great way to FIND BUYERS!!!

I know that in my household we try to keep things as clean and organized as we can. So that means getting rid of all the Phonebooks, which is another great source to find buyers.

So if you don't have phonebooks, you can also go to www.yellowpages.com and look for buyers, investors, real estate agents, brokers, etc.

I just thought about that tip & I'm getting ready to see how successful this may be. I will keep everyone posted!!

I'm actually in the process of building my buyers list, I think I'll give the yellow pages a shot... it can't hurt.

Thanks,

New to the DG site questions

Hi,
Sorry if this is off the topic, but I needs some help.

I have finished the book.
I have business cards.
I'm ready to attend the REI club next week.

But I still have some uncertainties?

1)Do I need a business license to do assignments?
2)If I dont have a website will the Buyers think that I am not established enough to use me?
3)How can I put in an offer with out an Agent (Forclosure deal as an Assignment), I have not yet obtained one yet?

Sorry to ask some many questions, but I have read the book twice and I am ready to become a doer, but there are some questions that are holding me back.

Thanks in advance for any help I can get.

1- No you do not need a license to do assignments.

2- Buyers dont care about your we site, just bring them great deals.

3- I suggest you try FSBO's if you can first, forclosures are a little harder because most banks wont allow assignments, there are ways around it but its a little more complicated if your just starting out.

hope this helps you.
Richie.

This site has the answers to your questions... Brian

1)I don't believe you need a business license just to do assignments.

2)I guess your a lot more successful with a website, but there's plenty of people on here that have done deals without one.

I very new to the site myself, but I have found that once you learn how to navigate the site you will find everything you need!!

So keep searching and looking around the site for anything you have a question about.

If you really want to specifically find info about something, you can search it right under dean's chin!

Good luck to you and your future success!

Phone book buyers list

This idea is awesome! I read it a while back and decided yesterday today to go though the phone book and write down all the names in my area. I chose the ones that end with the word "properties". The only question I have is what do I say when I call? I can't wait to use this technique but I want to sound professional when I call.

Its Free

PhazzeEstate, that is a good idea, one that i wrote down for myself a while back!! The best thing is that its FREE, thanks for sharing that with the DG family, mike..

Thanks

This is a good tip I'm sure many have not thought of. Thanks for giving us the idea. Good luck to you!

another idea

On the Google Start page click on the image icon and type in "homes for sale in (your area)". What you bring up are images that people have pasted on their web pages.
If you click on the pics it takes you to their page. Some of them are Investors, or Developers and their contact info is right there! Try it & PM me Lets compare results.

Phone book for buyers

I think the idea of using the phone book is ingenious. So used to technology some times we need to get back to basics. My only question is what do you say when you call? Do you ask for someone in a specific position (if they have a receptionist)?
I think I know what I would say once I spoke to right person. Also, what if it's a huge corporation, should I stick to smaller companies? I'm really ready to get the ball rolling, this isn't the only technique I'm using but it will work for me because I only have one day a week to make volumes of phone calls during regular business hours.

Thank You,
Jean

PhazzeEstate

Thanks so much for the idea, I will put it to work for me Eye-wink
