Unique way to find vacant house owner

a fast way to see who the owner is if he lives in the area and if some one knows them they no doubt would ask him about this too if they did not know it was for sale. It sure is a good way to find buyers though. Keep us informed jb and let us know how it comes out.

I've seen that ploy in an older RE book too. Probably worked in a simpler time. I would just point out that in today's environment, you could be looked at as person that is trying to perpetrate a fraud since you are trying to sell something you have no legal interest in. Don't want to see you go down in a ball of flames.

But I love that out of the box thinkin and I just HAVE to try it !! I read that the question mark in the ad will save me as I was ASKING if it was FOR SALE . I have a certain prop in mind that no one seems to have located the owner.i am going to exhaust ALL avenues first but am kind of hoping to try it out !!......

Assume you can't find buyer, you post a sign on their home, someone calls to purchase, you have no way to contact owner

You look like a fool because you have no access to owner and you wasted the potential buyers time.

No chance of succeeding

I would post the sign right next to the side walk in frnt of the house......as the village owns this and not on THE property owner anddddd my village is one of few that does NOT have any or many local laws.....such as ZONE ING OR SIGN LAWS.
Assume I WILL FIND THE seller
Someone calls to purchase.......i tell them my plan and my WHY.........they are EXCITED to be on my buyers list as I would go the extra mile to find a deal for them.
Assume if I do contact seller.....i coulD potentially ASSIGN IT TO ONE OF MY callers.
I have no problem looking like a fool if it means a win/win

My thoughts exactly.I have been told that OTHERS have not been able to find the owners with conventional research but I am going to try myself and this old unique trick will only be used by me if it is the last resort. Althought I am a bit hoping for a chance to TRY IT !!

I would like to add again this is only an idea I read about in a real estate book.
I am not saying go do this but let me ask the asker this.......IF THIS property was yours And you lived in a different state and you have been paying taxes and insurance and more on this and have been waiting for an action taker to rid u of this.........do we think I may become his answer?......i like to think more on this side of it.
This is just a stimulator to get those young gun minds in action ....and some old............to start THINKIN and start using the free gift between the ears so to speak.i def would not want anyone to do anything ilegal or unethical.so lets hear what you think about this IDEA and has ANYONE tried this and do you think it WOULD work or maybe no.....lets hear about some more out of the box ideas.....

I just got some bandit signs that I plan to put up in the neighborhood and i was just wondering if any body had any unique ideas for creating DIFFERENT bandit signs as far as what to write on them and what shapes to make them?

Like for instance I cut a few of the bandit signs into a shape of a house and plan to write on them.

Just wondering because I see the same typical bandit sign (square shaped with WE BUY HOUSES on them) everywhere in my area, and would like to make mines creative enough for some one to choose mines over theirs.
