is there a rule of thumb for cost for interior paint. IE $1.50/sq. ft PLUS paint? I would appreciate the input.

In regards to interior painting, it will depend on the area of the country you are located in because labor rates can vary. Your estimate of painting for $1.50 per sq ft. is a good estimate. When getting quotes for painting make sure you have the painter quote total price for any patching, priming, paint, and labor. Get the total price for paint and materials. We have found the $1.50 per sq ft of a home to be accurate. For example, if I have a 1,000 square foot house, painting can be around $1,500. It all depends to on how much patching and coats of paint are necessary/. Good luck. Believe and Achieve! - Joe

I printed out the link for what to ask real estate agents and then I emailed an agent here in town that I had contacted about a property in the past (but never did anything w/it) and asked all the questions except for a few and boy, did she come back with AMAZING answers!! I am so excited because now I believe a I have the one! LOL! She has been an investor herself, has worked with investors, etc. and is excited to work with me. Just wanted to say thanks for this thread. You guys are AWESOME!!
