What Text Will Best Advertise To 'Lease Options' Tenants?

Hi Bill,
I ran one ad on craigslist (free of course) simply describing my property and saying something like "first time home buyers take advantage of the $8000 tax credit or lease to own" I got a response the next day asking about the option and the guy ended up signing a lease option with me. He and his wife move in 2-1!

I actually posted them up on laundermats and grocery stores
APT complexes And CL you should get a pretty good respones

As long as you have the words "Rent to Own", "Lease Purchase", or "Lease Option" in there your phone should ring. Good Luck!

Rain rain rain. Ya - but better than the snow snow snow I grew up with in Cleveland, OH! I love it here - the mountains, the sound, the relatively moderate weather. In the east when it rains, it pours for real. Here it sprinkles, so you put up your hood and carry on!

On craigslist I use:
"Housing - Real Estate for Sale".

are you specifically looking to lease option a property or just to create a lease option buyers list?? because lets just say you have locked up a property with 1000 down and you have to pay 400 per mnth......you would want to advertise to find a buyer for lets say 20000 down[or more] and 600 per mnth for a profit of 1000 in your pocket and a mnthly cash flow of 200 per mnth .i am in this exact situation and i advertised in my LOCAL free trader for 50000 down that way u will only get calls that have that much for a down payment and not many calls with no $ down and less for a mnth pymnt.
MAKE SURE that anyone that does call you WRITE down ALL their info for future list to look for their exact needs of course at a profit to you!!!

And thanks for taking the time to offer me all of that very useful information. We really do have a wonderfully great family here at DG's site, don't we?

I am looking to create a list of possible tenants who are interested in leasing a property with the option on buying it at some future date. I was looking for ideas on how to word these advertisements and on where to best advertise at - to find the tenants, wanting to own a home, but with not-so-perfect credit or the lack of funds to buy right now.

The thought came to me as I was looking at rental property advertisements in my local area. And I saw nothing for 'Rent-To-Own' or 'Lease-With-Option-To-Purchase' listings there. If I were to find a home in foreclosure and my intent was NOT to flip it...but to HOLD and lease-option it to a tenant, I have no clue as to where to start so I can find such people that are interested .

I am accepting any help that our more experience family members may have and hoping that maybe someone might be able to direct me to any content, about this, here at DG's site. This site is soooooo large and I sometimes have a problem navigating to find the information that I am searching for.
