Born, raised and educated in Texas, but moved away after marrying a non-Texan (he's since taken out Texas citizenship). It's true what they say about Texas -- it's a whole other state of mind. Licensed Realtor since 1986. Graduate of the Realtor's Institute. Have received Dozen National Sales Award, given to only 5% of agents nationwide. Certified Buyer's Representative, Real Estate Marketing Specialist, Corporate Relocation Specialist. Career has included legal administrator in law firm, loan officer in mortgage brokerage, corporate relocation director, real estate salesperson, and officer in public policy non-profit. Am mother to 5, and grandmother to 5. Until his passing was married to the greatest husband in the world. Am a trained singer and now do this for the pure joy of it. Love real estate and making deals work.
Texas Short Sales
Do you still live in Texas? Can you do a short sale in Texas? I was told that you cannot do a short sale in Texas because once the notice of sheriff sale takes place, you have only 4-7 weeks to get the deal done. Is that true - that short sales are too hard to complete within that time frame for Texas?
Thanks for your help,
