Hi,
I just found your mail. It's very nice of you. I am not serious REI investor(I wish I am). I don't think I can be successful for REI because my English is a big obstacle. I don't know why people are saying "fear" or "scare" if they have no problem in English. It is very frustrated for me that I can not understand every single thing quickly. But I am enjoying and learning new things every day in this site. I may ask your help some time. Thank you again.

Sheriff's sales.
I've been to two sheriff's sales, hoping to purchase properties that I could then turn-around, but in both sales, the opening bid was for far more than the properties were worth. They were started for the amount the former owners owed against the properties, and it was far more than the they were worth, so the bank's bid was accepted and the bank kept the properties. Is this typical, and does it usually work this way?
Thanks for all of your help and ispiration,
CD
