My main profession for the past 36 years has been in real estate development. I have developed both commercial and residential properties in CA, AZ, NV and UT. I have been a real estate broker for over 32 years. I've done a lot of investing in my career. I'm excited about the technology we have today as it allows investors to deal all around the country instead of just the own back yard.

Newbie found deal 2.6 acres

I was reading some of your posts. I am looking forward to attending one of the workshops coming to my area...it's funny how things happen if they are meant to be...I started telling a few people about my "being a rei"...and a couple of days after I got a call to go see a property 3 existing houses, 2.6 acres...asking $400k...I haven't even read the book yet until I get it on Wed...but I have been going through this site like crazy...I told them I would get back to them in two weeks...I will take any advice you can offer...

It depends on the value of the property and how anxious the sellers are. The whole deal about being a wholesaler is to find motivated sellers who are willing to discount their property to the market value by 35 - 50%. So, if they are willing to discount to this extent, it may be worth pursuing.
