I'm a Realtor who is working towards being a "use my own funds" investor in real estate. I'm starting with baby steps to get there. I am a planner and have BIG ideas. I already have someone who will be part of my team - my brother who is very handy and can help with repairs.

My primary strategies are wholesaling and lease/options. I am also helping another investor as a Realtor -- submitting offers, providing seller & sold information, finding properties that are deals, or any other information I am able to get my hands on as a Realtor to make an investor's life easier. Partnering is also an avenue I'm interested in (I find the deal, they find the buyer, they provide funding & split profit, etc). I'm also working on gaining access to private funds to facilitate my own deals -- have a handful of people I know that I am approaching.

My family will have college years to pay for and I want to be ready from a funds standpoint! I also love real estate and helping "make the numbers work". I am active in my community as a volunteer board member of a local Christian counseling organization. I'm also on my church counsel and love to help people.
