I just am trying to stay connected.
While I am truly blessed I have challenges that have ended since Mom passed Sept. 20th, 2010.
She was sick for seven years, in hospice almost two years.
She was a believer in Jesus Christ and so ready for Heaven. I see her smiling and am so grateful she no longer has to suffer. She saw Jesus and Angels, her Mom and two Sons gone on before!
Her pastor said, 'Oh if I could see what she see's!
So now I am 'catching up' with what was omitted and needs attention.
Saturday, I spent with my only daughter, helping her in her home. She has health challenges and works a five day week so weekends she needs rest and relief. We enjoyed working in her home together.
I am a member of the Success Academy and plugging along with review of books and learning. Watching the Video's and reading blogs. Fun stuff!

I live in a small Southern Town, in the city limits. Therefore, I have to have a Business License to do business from my home.
Since I have expenses while learning, I applied for my license on 12/30/2011.
I have found a house that I plan to visit this weekend. Looks great, sounds great, has a great sale price for size and looks of home. I have to see it to believe it! In next city over and our County Seat.
Realtor is very popular and known for his fairness and trustworthyness.
I have viewed houses in our city in the historic district with extremely high prices vs a sub-division that needs some 'tender-loving care.'
I am 'itching' to see just where this acquiring REI knowledge will lead me.

Hi! I wasn't aware you were on the DG site! I lost my grandma in August of 2009, I took care of her as well for over 5 years. Took care of my mom for 2 years before she also passed suddenly of a massive heart attack. She was a chain smoker, so I'm sure this had something to do with it. She also suffered from paranoid schizophrenia, and it was a CHALLENGE like no other to care for her! It really strengthened me as a human being having the opportunity to care for my mom and grandma! I hope you are successful with your endeavors in REI and that you are triumphant with your current situation with your home! God Bless!

Just caught up with new site arrangement and saw your post.
Talking to mortgage servicer and reminded them that NACA took Chase/JPMorgan to Arbitration Court for violation of their contract. Chase/JPMorgan took over my servicer.
The case will be heard in February, this month! I reminded them of this 'bit of news' that was a fact.
Since I am one of the homeowners that were violated by C/JPM, my case will be along side of numerous others.
I am hopefull. Long journey!
So, finally the servicer appears to be willing to be decent and professional. What wonderful progress!!!

I would not trade the 'precious times' I had with my mother, through it all. That made the 'hard times' tolerant and doable, with lots of prayer!
A friend recently said, 'You are wonderful!' Mischieviously, I replied, 'I know!' Then the two of us laughed!! I told her, I said that because I knew she would get a 'kick out of it!'
I said, 'I confess often!' And then, 'I take care of my salvation!' And, I do both!!!

Saw a home for sale in paper!
Great price, home built in 2002 with recent upgrades.
Great condition, location seemed inviting, and said, 'short sale OK.'
Several weeks in same paper.
On realtor site, price had been higher.
Next Sunday, price dropped. Then the next Sunday stated 'Under Contract.'
This Sunday, new owner listed it for sale for over $5,000.00 more!
I smiled and said, "That must be a DG student!
I am learning my way to reach such a deal! I want to help others who want a home while helping myself.
