Day 22

What a bust.
Today I came up with a formula that, I'm sorry to say, is holding true for me:
Girlfriend + Girlfriend's problems = distractions
Distractions + aggravation from distractions= no progression

Homework + distractions + no progression = FAILURE

The formula I live by holds true always! Preventing a problem is much cheaper and faster than fixing a problem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk to you later.

Day 21

Was unable to do too much RE work today. Did get news that cat pulled through and was looking better and would be released shortly.

So today's activities:
Responded to PMs and Emails.
I did make a post to someone's journal
Spoke with fellow DGer on phone
Was on tonight's call with Carol Stinson
Looked up some of the websites Carol suggested
Saw that my agent was online and asked about my comps & CMAs. Was told that he was extremely busy this week and will not be able to get to them until at least Fri. Considering I don't have any pre-existing buyer's lined up for these properties, I can wait. This has become more of an exercise than a sale but every bit of experience helps.

Entered my dailies.

That's it for tonight

See Y'all tomorrow....

Day 20

Life kinda took a backseat today. Girlfriend's cat took very ill and needed to be rushed to the vet. She's going to be hospitalized for at least 2 days before we need to make what could be a final decision for her future.

What I was able to do before stopping:
Mailed off the rest of my buyer's letters after getting stamps.
Checked my PMs and emails.

Tonight I was able to listen to Joe Jurek's call and posted some stuff on DG forums.

Calling it quits at 1145PM.

'Til tomorrow... hopefully....

Day 19

Today started with stuffing envelopes and getting my letters to the cash buyers out into the mail. DONE!

Next: I emailed my agent for Comps and CMAs to the 2 properties I looked at yesterday.

Next:
I answered PMs and email.

Next: had to divert my attention to my other business's needs so RE was done for the day HOWEVER...I did rehearse in my head the conversation I am going to have with this agent about making "aggressive" offers and if he was ready to do that for me pretty much the rest of the day.

Got on the mentoring call tonight.
Responded to a few forum entries
Delivered my dailies. Done for the night...

Day 18

Okay, I'll start off by saying that I didn't get to finish cleaning my office today. Anyone surprised? I did however have a productive day.

Today I:
Answered my PMs & emails

went to look at 2 properties that my agent gave me as possible good deals.

I finished setting up my Google Voice settings so that my cell now rings when GV is called.

I rewrote my cash buyer's letter and created a template to use that's area specific

I printed out the letters that need to be sent to my cash buyer's list

I designed and printed out Business cards using Greg Murphy's layout suggestion

I finally figured out how to correctly mail merge my cash buyers list and printed out the envelopes.

I listened to Dean's weekly blog and entered my comments
I entered my dailies in my blog.

day 17

If anyone is reading this, you will have read about my trials and tribulations regarding cleaning my office. Well I hope you're sitting down for this news.

Today I chose to approach my new biz as a business.
Taking Greg Murphy's suggestion from the call last night, I made every moment count today.

What I accomplished today (after dealing with my lure business):
I answered some emails and PMs.
I entered some thoughts within someone's journal
I CLEANED MY OFFICE (well... I cleaned half of it. But I'm finishing it tomorrow!)
Researched 2 properties I am going to look at tomorrow
I signed up for Google Voice, Recorded my voicemail greeting and set up my call forwarding instructions.
Entered my dailies in this blog.

All in all, it was a productive day Smiling
