Hello my DG.com Family:

For some on here - its been a long time since I have been active in the forums but its just because I have been busy....very busy in fact.

I just wanted to share how my life has evolved since reading Deans books, getting my first deals out of the way, studying hard and creating new "Destiny" for myself.

Most of you already know my story and know that I recently lost my eyesight. As an update to that, I have gain sight back in the right eye but still have none in the left. But I am not going to get diverted here - I want to tell you what I have been up to.

As I write this blog, or rather dictate this - I ponder how far and how blessed I have been. Not just in my personal life but in my real estate life, as well.

On August 23, 2009, I lost my eyesight and can no longer see. I could have chalked this up as another road block in my life as well as a road block in my REI career - But I didn't and I don't.

Or better yet, Greetings from the E.D.G.E. I am in Phoenix, AZ at Dean's very FIRST Conference. I don't know how today will go but last night at the Meet & Greet was AWESOME!

I met so many people from the site and I got to see Rina, Laura Johnson, Elena, Lloydsap, Vaugh and many, many more.

I can't wait to post on Day 1 of the conference. The excitement, the education, the enthusiasm and well I guess the "MAN". Dean is to open the conference this morning at 9am and "teach".

Everyday it seems that the news in this contry is getting worse and worse. But there is a bit of sunlight at the end - you just have to stay focused and keep your eye on it. Never let it falter and you will prosper.

I am sure that we all know how the real estate market is these days but have you ever stopped to think about the other people on the other side of those foreclosures and short sales that we see as "great deals".

I have noticed that my new path in life as a Real Estate Investor has had some interesting effects on those around me.

Everyday, whether I post or not, I read the post in the forums and I think....there are so many NEW people joining us everyday but do they realize the REAL opportunity that is knocking.

Its not everyday that you get to join a community like DG.com or much of anywhere else for that matter, and be able to talk with, get advice and learn from hundreds of others - ALL pursuing the same dream. Financial independence, security, log-term cash flow and peace of mind.
