Hi,
I am new to Real Estate Investing and dying to get started. I wanted to know if there is a DG member actively investing in MA that would allow me to take them to lunch to pick there brain for an hour. I am looking for inspiration and initial direction.

I was a carpenter for 18 years and for the past nine years I have worked as an estimator for multi-family developments(which I am currently doing); from 60 - 400 units. I estimate Frame,exterior doors and windows, sidingl trim and roofing. I have done interior finish for the same type projects as well.

Looking to pick and active investors brain or to meet and brainstorm with someone new.

I purchased Dean's "Gain The Edge" and thought that was the training course to get started. I must have misunderstood. Although there is valuable information in there it has confused the hell out of me. If anyone can suggest maybe a beginners begining course I would appreciate it.
