Day 1- Need HELP!

Hi DGF, so today i called about 10 remax offices, and got 2 solid agents to work with me. One already sent a a decent list of 40 properties in the 1st 30min.
My question is, "How do i evaluate this list?"
I can not help to believe that there is at least one good deal in here!! =D

I specifically want to follow Dean's 30 Days to Real Estate Profit book.
But The agent sent me a list with a lot of Subject To/Lease Option & REO Owned. and some Standard Sales. Even though she didn't send me exactly what i wanted (which was AS IS, VACANT, and PRICE REDUCTION), she did deliver extremely fast. and at the same time, i do not even know how to evaluate if the house is AS IS, VACANT, or PRICE REDUCED or not.

Finding a lot more properties after yesterday topic in Active Forum. Sent a listing via e-mail late last nite. Awaiting reply.

Spoke to some great people yesterday. One was an asset manager for the local big bank in town. She wants to meet with me. Mentally preparing for that. Looking for wisdom to how to best handle that. I want to know what I am walking into to. I told her that although most of my clients will be purchasing in cash; I do have prequalified finance clients that I would send her way. She used a term I never heard of. 203k??? Need to figure out what that means.

Just a question...

Something I've been thinking about......kind of in the box and out of the box all at the same time. We are so busy making buyers and sellers list and I'm thinking.....aren't we all buyers and sellers on this wonderful DG site? Shouldn't we be asking people on this site to be on our buyers and sellers lists? I mean, really, if I were to sell a house I would love to sell it to someone here so they could make their first deal and earn the $$$ rather than some stranger. It was just a thought!

i am soo affraid

frowm the sounds of it, everyones methodes are promissing. the problem is that i am soo affraid to get started..do i look for buyers first, or sellers?

Back on the Road......

Oh my! So much to do today but the van is on the road and that saves us a lot of time and hassle. My regular work week is over (thank goodness) and I can concentrate on my new addiction....Real Estate! This week we are moving forward in our searches! I have a buyer's list and I am making phone calls! Gonna touch basis with people on my Buyer's list and do some house hunting to go ahead and make bids. I am having a little trouble finding a partner in the Oregon area....not to necessarily do deals but to tell me when I'm slacking off when I am. My schedule gets very busy with three kids (one disabled) and two grandkids and of course, my wonderful husband who keeps saying things like: "I thought you wanted to try Real Estate Investing?" And we are going to do it!
