Realtor vs bandit signs

I am confused by the guidance. In the 25:1 strategy, it is mentioned several times by multiple sources to get leads from the realtor (filtered, of course). Apply the second filter and make offers accordingly.

However, Matt and Dean both have stated that FSBOs are the way to go and 99% of the deals are not found through the MLS. Those FSBOs are found through bandit signs and other methods.

Why would I go through the realtor/MLS when the deals are not there to be found (at least 99% of them)?

Someone please help explaining what part I am missing.

Hey Gang, you do NOT want to miss this tonight. There is always new things, good reminders and cobwebs that are addressed. I've been working MFPs direct to Hedge Funds and REITs and I wouldn't miss this, as I direct profits back into SFR's. The fact Mr. Dean Graziosi and Mr Matt Lawson take their time to continually share and give back... well, I'm amazed AND inspired! One single "something" could be the key to unlocking a stalled program you are trying to get going. Or it could be the inspiration for taking a giant step forward.

How do i find out which bank owns a house???

I have found three different houses that all have been vancant for over 2 years or more. So I did my home work and checked the public records at the county tax office an found out the previous owners names and wrote them letters, only to have them sent back return to sender. After some more research I found out that these properties are bank owned but I cannot figure out how to find out which banks own them. Does anyone know any further steps I can take to find out which banks own them???

Day One

So far so good. I like what I'm seeing and I am committed to having a positive attitude and out look on what I'm about to learn.

I have been stuck in a holding pattern for the last 2 years, I pretty much lost everything (home, investments, marriage, confidence) I'm feeling like with Deans help I am on the way up the hill!

The Insider's Edge Real Estate Conference with Keith Sperry

Today was my lucky day for I would get to attend the local Insider's Edge Real Estate Conference being held at the local Red Lion Hotel in Spokane Washington. The primary speaker is one of the big real estate guru's named Keith Sperry and he would be handling the introduction and majority of the conference. This consisted of "Creating Wealth in Today's Real Estate Market". The next Speaker was Neblis Francois who would cover "Real Estate Investments Backed by the Government", and finally wrapped up by Michael Collins who would speak very shortly on Notes.
Overall I enjoyed the whole conference, but felt very depressed upon leaving because I could no participate in any of the offered classes due to lack of financial aid.
