November 21st, 2011 | posted by jcwpWow, I wish I would have started this sooner. So much has happened since joining the DG family. I will start with this past week. I was contacted by a member from the site from Indiana who was going to be in my area(Michigan). We met for lunch to talk Real Estate. It is so cool to connect with other people in the DG network and I hope I get the opportunity to do this more often. Julie and I closed on the sale of one of our properties that was a Lease/Option. Our tenant buyer exercised their option early(only after 4 months). We decided to offer a discount off the original sale price due to cashing us out early. We profited over $40,000!
First Deal Failure...
November 21st, 2011 | posted by ljpalmerWell here it is the Sunday before Thanksgiving and the deal we had set to close fell through. That's right...it fell straight through. The financing we had set up through who we thought was a reputable source turns out that he was more than willing to take our money and not perform. Now I'm NOT going to mention who the company was or who this individual was but I know I won't be doing business with them in the future. What I can say to all of you out there is, PLEASE do your due diligence. Know who you are doing business with. Be certain that they are on the same page as you. With that said it's time to reload and get cranking on the "30 days to Real Estate Cash". This was a great Non-Deal for us, that's right, I said Non-Deal. What a great opportunity to learn and grow.

Third deal this time an owner finance deal

November 21st, 2011 | posted by SchneequaHey guys I've posted Ghost Ads on craigslist just like everyone suggested and OMGEEEEE! Lol! Less than a half hour later my phone was ringing and I was getting emails ... So far I have 3 with two of them giving detailed specifications on properties they and what they are willing spend (Cash) I'm so excited my fingers are slipping on the keyboard
I know this is just the tip of the iceberg but its a major step from nothing

November 20th, 2011 | posted by Palcando2Thanks Dean for writing this book....I'm on my way with reading this book, just finished looking at the 30 day welcome video...now onto the meat of it and drink in all that I can and really see some bucks fast..I need it so bad...lord knows I need the wisdom and courage to take the necessary actions to see the end results...Cash...It'll open up a whole new horrizon for me that I won't fret so much for my retirement years just two more years...but then only having enough money will determine when a person can retire or even enjoy their retirement...To live life on my terms not like a puppet on a string!Many Thanks again Dean, Phil Lully
