We just bought Dean's book last month and would like to get started right a way in the Tampa Area. Is there anyone within a 75 mile radius who would like to work with us to get the ball rolling? Is anyone in Dean's academy, and is it paying off?

In Tampa As Well!
Hi all, I'm Justin, and I am also new to REI, Dean's Methods, and to working in the Tampa Market. I have discovered the Suncoast Real Estate Investors Association at sreia.com and they seem to be a valuable source of information. Have you guys gotten started on any ads yet? I've done a few and it's too early to say that there are any concrete results yet. Has anything specifically been working well for you?

I'm in Tampa and just starting out with Dean's program. I checked out sreia.com and it looks pretty good. Planning to attend the January meeting. My goal is to get started in January. (December is my learning and planning month) I would love to possibly work with others in the Tampa Bay area.

stratagies I hadn't even thought possable or even heard of before.
(not that I've been trying REI for long.)
I ordered the book out of desperaition as I watched a deal I had been working on for months
crumble before my eyes. :.(

I am fairly new to the Real Estate investment programs. I have purchased and then sold 3-4 various homes that I have lived in with my family. I would now like to start working on projects that are not intended to be the home we are living in. I live in Central Florida (about 15 miles West of Melbourne). We purchased a home in Dec 2009 (Palm Bay), did the fix-up and have flipped it into a profitable rent to own deal. I'm happy to see I have some fellow DG brothers and sisters in the Tampa Fl area, where I've newly relocated to.
I'm just about 3 months into Deans course, but no rookie to real estate, as I've been a realtor for Coldwell Banker Real Estate for 4 years, where later expanded to Developments and now branching off to Deans new ideas and startegies that I'm just totally in love with.
