Thank you so much. I have watched your show for quite sometime now. A few weeks ago I said what the heck. I read your books cover to cover and have never been this excited. I just spoke with a coach from the academy and he is calling my wife this evening. I hope "we" can convince her that this is the ticket. I enjoy reading the posts and blogs. My name is Chris Decastro. I bought your Profit from Real Estate book and is in the process of reading it now. I've always been interested in Real Estate but like you mentioned in you book I have all kinds of misconceptions about Real Estate that you have cleared up.

I don't have any successful stories like so many of the people that left you messages but I will tell you that with your direction, wisdom and my own capabilities, I will do my best to try and succeed and make my first deal in the months to come.

I don't have a lot of money, in fact I am living paycheck to paycheck with my girlfriend but like I told her, I will make it in this field with your help of course and the people on this site. Thanks Anita for all your advice.

I don't expect to win the EDGE material, I really doubt that but I just wanted to let you know how inspirational your story has been to me and gives me the motivation to continue on this Real Estate journey.

My name is Bob and Im an avid fan. I also admire how and what u have done for YEARS but finally bought your book off of the TV.I have been very impressed with what Ive seen here and from you. I havent really started any of your techniques as I have been busy with my retirement?- LoL! Actually I NEEDED to have bilateral hip replacements 8 yrs ago and I have a sm pension.but Im a dreamer-and like you tout-One needs to get off the couch!

From what Ive read off of your books- WoW I think this could work even in CA.!-Northern CA>- near Napa- So u know if Im successful- I will have you out here for some great wine! In 1979, at 25 years old, I spent a weekend at a Nothing Down seminar hosted by 2 people by the last names of Lowery and Nickerson. That seminar gave me the knowledge and confidence to buy my first rental house and eventually 7 houses total, of which I sold 6 in the 2000 - 2002 timeframe at a very nice profit (after having realized some very nice positive cash flows and income tax adantages over the years which I now wish I was still enjoying as opposed to receiving the meager savings account interest rates being offered by the banks). Why am I blogging? Simply because my interest in Real Estate investing has been re-born listening to you Dean and the enthusiasm you bring to the table. Just want to say thanks. Wish I would not have been on vacation during the blitz, but I'll figure out a way to get on board with your edge program regarding probate properties even if I don't win the free copy this week.

I read larryshouses post and the comments about his first deal before I watched the video. Very inspiring! It's great to hear from larryshouses that I'm already in good shape, that he's just been studying Dean's book and this site - but I'd still love to win The Edge!

Hello Dean

Perhaps you think that I am going to tell you how great your books and programs are? Well I'm not.

See, one can read the books, or sit on them, and probably won't get anything but a sore butt.

The Website, however, the encouragement I personally have received is what got me off my bottom.

Typically, there was a fellow who was going to sell his Harley just to keep going. I saw his blog and his posts and asked him by PM if he had, in fact sold his motorcycle, and did that make it for him.

In his reply, and in subsequent personal messages, he as much as told me [nicely] to get in there and work the program. Perserver, and be successful. Keep plugging away, and "Never Give Up". [Wonder where he got that attitude?]

Well of course I know two things for sure; and he never sold his Harley!

I acquired my first investment in New Orleans, in a subject to deal, that worked exactly like you said. I almost fell off the chair at a Waffle House where I met the sellers for coffee, to present the deal.

At the conclusion of my presentation I asked the magic question,"Is there any reason why you can't take advantage of this [offer}"?

Husband turned to wife, thier eyes met, and he said NO! Since the pen was already out [I used it as a pointer,] he signed and pushed it over to his wife.

In closing I must tell the rest of the story.

It was an ad on Craigslist. They had the house vacant for over two years, and were [barely] paying the note. They borrowed to get money for a new business, and now they just wanted off.

Purchase price was about $1400 more than the note. I told them as I had to use my money to fix it up, would they please carry back the $1400, and I, in turn would give them first and last month and pay the note on time, get the insurance, and preserve their credit standing.

I like your style, faith, reverence and honesty Dean, however, the community which you have created is an outstanding force by which one can definatly acquire some wealth in Real Estate.

If I don't on to the next deal...shame on me!

Hello everyone! My name is Jerry and I'm in Indiana. Thanks Dean, for putting this program together. I'm in the process of putting my team together and getting my documents "Indiana friendly" via a RE attorney in this area. I have a couple of buyers/investors ready to buy and I haven't even "put out the shingle" for business yet. I've just been talking to a few people here and there. I'm anxious to get it going - there are hundreds of potential deals in this area right now. I'll let you know how it goes.

We have been doing real estate investing full time in Georgia since 1999. Our three kids grew up in this business and love it. There is nothing better. We have purchased single family, multifamily, mobile home parks, convenience stores, and anything else that sounded fun. But, the market turned and we were not prepared for so many of our tenants to lose their jobs and not be able to pay rent so things went downhill for us quickly with 80 rental properties (with mortgages). We sold most of those expensive houses (for what we owed on them). We are basically starting over and needed a new strategy to get back on top. Real Estate Investing spoiled us. Dean caught our eye on tv one morning and we knew his course was definitely different and not old school. Though we have been to countless seminars and bought hundreds of courses, we have not heard of the automated system ever before and wholesaling seems to be a great idea while the economy is in such a downturn. Dean's course is just what we needed to get us motivated again. Now, where did we tuck away our confidence?? We need to find it and as Dean says, just take the first step and don't look back. We will be blogging and commenting with everyone to get help and give help. Look for us.

Hey Dean, My name is Justin, I live in NC and I am just getting started in a new path!! I just got your books last week and I am through 1 already!! Props to me cause that's how I used to get punished was reading... Im engaged and have a wounderful daughter whos 8 months!! My job has me out of town at least 4 days a week and when I am home it's not but for 12 hours and im gone again!! I have a very good income for my area but with my daughter now it's very hard to be away like I do.. I have always said money was in RE but didn't know how to pursue it except going to buy a house with your own money and either flipping it and hopefully making a profit or renting it and hopefully you will have a good tenant!! You have shown me ways that I would never have thought of so Thank You!! Now I just have to step out of my every day steel toes and into some sandles and follow your path... Wish me luck!!

Hi All!

I just bought Dean's book and have been reading it for 3 days now. I have a young baby and 2 boys that keep me busy as a stay at home mom or else I'd devote all my time to finishing Dean's book!
I'm a complete newbie to real estate but have been married for 6 years to my husband who has been a real estate agent, an owner of a real estate company, owner of a mortgage company, as well as a successful real estate investor many years ago.

His life changed direction before I met him and he devotes his time to his new business venture as well as to our family. He has read many books on real estate and even has been asked to speak at various functions concerning making money in real estate.

He tells me that Dean's book is about the only one he has read that truly "tells it like it is" and doesn't mislead beginners in real estate with a lot of "fluff" and false statements. He is even EXTREMELY impressed with Dean's marketing method!

We're now planning to begin real estate investing once again in today's market as a team and I'm so excited. I'm trying to learn as much as I can from Dean's book and on this blog so that I can do a lot of the leg work from home. Stay at home moms are always asking me for legitimate work from home opportunities....well what could be better than this?!?

My name is Eric O'Neill. I am in the process of losing my house to foreclosure due to relocation and realizing what someone is likely to buy my house for, I decided that I needed to know more.
I want to thank Dean for putting this program together and all of the members that post on this site.
