This not my first post but it is a great opportunity to thankyou to everybody for helpful information and the inspiration, not to mention a shot at the edge.In all honesty this site does get better each time I go on it.Thanks again. Silverhound (WHAT BOX?)

I have purchased my first deal. It happened because I told everyone I know what I planned to do. What happened was that an older friend of mine called me and said his neighbor wanted to sell his mobile home. I looked at it and was surprised at the condition, he only wanted to get rid of it for $5,000. My friend asked me if I would go half with him on the purchase and advise him on what to do with it. He would pay for any repairs and we would split the profit when we sold it. It will need some minor repairs, cleaning, and paint (less than $10,000 worth of work). We will be putting it on the market next month for $42,000. That is less than any other home of its age and size within the market area so we expect a quick sale. I should profit at least $13,000, not bad for a $2,500 investment.

I am slow to starting..august was month of challenges..one son graduated navy boot camp...only one parent could afford to go.....father in law was ill and past on last week...barely able to send wife home...and she took over 4 weeks off from work....my older son got married this month also and barely had money to visit...no gift...i know your product can help me have better outlook but also be better prepared when life throws challenges...i hate feeling inept when i know my heart and passion to work are there...but getting no where fast..please pick me for give away but honestly if another American needs it more than me...so be it...definitely bless my fellow man or woman...you rock Dean.

Just when i think i want to quit..you inspire folks to take a chance..just by typing this message I feel like I have taken some step or chance to better myself. This month was challenging for my family...death in family in another state...son graduated navy bootcamp in another state....older son got married diff state...and wife gone to see ill family member and has not worked for 4 weeks...all challenges and all reasons to feel like a crumb cause we barely could afford one of us to attend events or attend with minimal contribution..the adage "the thought counts"..only fills the void of sentences and still leaves this mans heart feeling inept. I hope to receive this product to help continue my path to independence...but if another person needs it def give it to them. You ROCK. Ron

I've seen your show quite a few times since graduating high school in 2000. I have always been very interested in learning your techniques, but obstacles have always some how got in my way. Finally after 9 years of working for others and getting nowhere I bought your books. I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired. My wife and two young children are my inspiration and they deserve so much more than what we have now. I'm looking forward to using the tools you have provided out of the kindness of your heart to start a world we have only dreamed of. Hello Dean and to the rest of the DG family. I have been reading about Real Estate since I was 18 years old. I'm 33 years old now and still don't own one piece of investment property. It appears I've wasted 15 years of my investment career.

I bought Dean's "Think a Little Different in RE" years ago. I got really inspired and then ran back to all the same excuses I used before to hold me back. What IF this..., what IF that... I never knew how power two letters (I F) could have over someone. Nothing, against Dean, all the other RE guru's material didn't get me to take action either. Dean's material is hands down the best value for the money and information received.

Anyway, to make a long story short, I'm here to get it right this time. There are plenty of DG family members in the Top Users Group that are very knowledgeable in every area of RE. With there experience and a little courage on my part, I'm sure I can change my life...

I know I need to get out there and get started, especially since I only have Social Security Disability to live on but frankly...I am scared to death! I understand that I would probably love it but I am a total chicken. Wish I had a partner to share this with but have been alone for the last 10 years.

Giving The Gain the Edge away is a great thing to do but then again, we all know what a kind man you are.

This is a wonderful site and I like to read the comments and questions.

I have been watching you and listening to the conference calls for sometime. I have been involved in Real Estate for few years. It has only been recently that I have really began to take off. Last month I found a property for $65K, asked the bank to take $53 and they did. The property is worth $130K! I just found another home for my brother - who only does this part time with me - For $77K, appraised value is $140K. I've been to a few seminars, but again, I took the risk and now I own 8 properties, really within the last year. I am a believer, If I can do it, anyone can.

Signed up with Dean late last year. Due to many personal problems, right now I brought my very ill mom, from Uruguay to live with me, thinking that I could care for her in my home. I am finding out there is no long term care help available. I can not afford to pay for 24hour care, I work and have a bad back so I can not lift her. Putting away the tissues now, I am getting back to business. Through these bad months, my son and I did manage to purchase our own home and stop renting. We love our new home (built in 1950), in very good condition. Has 2 bedrooms' downstairs, eventually interested in finishing a livingroom, full bath and kitchen downstairs and rent it out to help us pay the mortgage. Determined to start studing my sucess academy and position myself to purchase cash flow properties. Need that "Funding" report and Gain the Edge...Pick my name...Pretty please! I actually bought the EDGE Kit, but has to return it for a refund. Right when I received it my roommate unexpectedly decided to move out and left me with the full amount of the rent for August. I had not choice but to get IMMEDIATE cash to stay in my apartment. I am really excited, I have been following all your blog posts and conference calls. I was very upset that I had to send it back. This is by far the best program I have ever come across. Aloha Dean and thanks for all your support I did purchase the Edge kit but my credit card was over extended I would really like a copy of It Im reading your book profit from real estate right now for the second time and following all the action steps. I just got an email from my broker and its an Reo property right down the street where I live. It needs some rehab but Im sure I can get some one to do it and I can help as well. I bought your book and loaned it to my daughter's boyfriend. He was laid off and is stuggling to find a new job. My father was very successful in real estate investing as well as my grandfather. I am glad to have found you to help him understand this business. Starting your own business is the way to go, even after the job market gets better it is always good to have another stream of income.

Thanks for the chance to win THE EDGE 09. I was out of town on a job during the BLITZ with no computer service in a rural area of Arkansas doing a remodel on a vacation home for a very good client. The up side is I found lots of potential deals in the beaver lake area near Rogers Arkansas, I can't believe how cheap lake property is in that area. I also would like to thank all the great posters on your site I love that I can network with like minded people all on one site.

I have the books, and wanted to purchase the "Gain the Edge Kit", however, my wallet was stolen and could not purchase one due to having to cancel my credit cards. Would still purchase one, but guess will have to hope to win one as there are apparently none left, correct?

Anyway, I am in Atlanta and hope to meet some people here that are also in the area. Not sure what else to add here (right now) as I have not begun the process and not sure where to start. Can someone point me in the right direction?
