Dean I enjoy your blogs and find them very motivating. Have been spending most of my free time learning as much as possible before jumping in,little nervous but do know from past experience in real estate, that this works. Since I live in Canada, I think things are much easier in the USA to do this because our home prices are much higher here and when dealing with banks they are not as flexible here when doing Power of Sales. Am anxious to get started and want to get as much knowledge as I can first. I would like to partner with someone in the USA for the first couple of deals to get the feel of the paper work as it is a bit different closing a deal here. Thanks for all your support and encouragement on your videos.

Have read your book and am reading as much as I can on your site as well as listening to your motivating videos and am slowly building my confidence to get started. Living in Canada and doing deals here is a bit different as far as the paper work is concerned and banks are not as easy to deal with on a Power of Sale, but am going to look as some properties this weekend. But I believe there are many more opportunities in the USA and would like to partner with someone on your side of the border. I have much experience buying and selling here but am a bit nervous about stepping out of my comfort zone here but I know this works. Thanks for your motiivation on your videos.

Education, Motivation, and Action

I am one of the ones you talk about ...being scared to take the first step and being short on confidence until you have one real estate success under your belt. I like to listen to you because you motivate me and make me feel like I can do it. Thank you for continuing to make these weekly talks available to us for the support we need! You are truly on a great life path in my book.

Amen to you saying making emotional decisions! Yes, you hit the nail on the head! I also wish for the magic pill for losing weight! I wish! I try to get my family to logically get in the market and I have been told I am nuts!!! So I am still trying!~trying to find good investors to help me too buy multi-family units too! I have to stay logical and focus!!!!

The main reason for one’s success or failure is directly related to one’s ability to envision the impossible. Very often emotions are the most significant factor but they sometimes get jeopardized by the overall lack of confidence caused by the insufficient knowledge or plainly by the fear. Although some “gurus” continuously try to make real estate incredibly complex and scary Dean and his team do not. Our own fear is the only thing standing in the way preventing us from reaching our goals. I am now officially tired of not taking action. It is time to reach for stars.

I hear you, I hear you. Right now my family and my friends think that I am crazy, especially after I lost my deal in real estate in Phoenix. I am not giving up that’s why I bought your book 30 days cash in real estate. I bought Gain the edge 10 educations packet. I attended your seminar several times. I listen to your weekly wisdom video. All you say about real estate business is logical and I belief in you and your teaching but it is my fault for not taking action. I am lack of motivation and support as a result I am becoming despondent. I am surrounded with a negative environment. Your weekly wisdom video inspired me and you are so genuine.

Hi Dean, You are always right on target with the message I need to hear every week. I have made some of those emotional decisions in the past and not much changed as a result. I am working very hard to be that "logical" thinking person so my future will be more than my greatest expectation. Over the past few months I have distanced myself from friends and co-workers, the nay-sayers, and I'm surrounding myself with the "believers". I'm even beginning to believe in myself more and more that I CAN do this. "Logically" I know real estate investing is the path that will help me reach my goals and make my dreams a reality. Thank you for your passion and inspiration.

Dean is right real estate is at an all time low that will make history. It is now or never to get involved in this amazing market. Perhaps this is my first post since joining the DG family in 2009, but very rarely do I miss reading the weekly blogs/wisdom.

Thank you very much for your encouragement, inspiration and weekly wisdom.

So far I have four properties positive cash flowing and plan to continue investing in rental properties for the next couple of years.

It's primarily due to your encouragement I took action and continue to do so at I pace I am comfortable with.

I am returning to REI after a few years on the sidelines. I couldn't agree more that now is the absolute best time to profit in the real estate market. I have made a commitment to grow my business and create a life for myself and my family that others only dream about. To reach my goals, I'll continue making changes in the way I think, the words I use and the actions I take.  Working with the DG family, I'll continue to learn more strategies and simply deepen my knowledge about REI. I look at it this way, by changing my thoughts, words and actions and learning all I can about how to succeed in REI, I'm tending my chute to ensure a successful journey. You see my commitment to succeed in this business is so strong that it is like jumping from an airplane and there is no turning back. My chute is packed and I've made the commitment. It's now time for action and I'm continuing to take action by making this post and soaking up information like a spong. 

To my DG Family members, make the commitment, pack your chute by learning all you can and then take more action and fly. Commit to reach your goals and face your fears head on.  Take action now and get out of that comfort zone. Create a life for yourself and those that you love that is chllenging, fulfilling and rewarding. Dean, what a terrific show! We all have doubters in our families, friends, and inside our selves. Perhaps it's human nature to be cautious and wary of the unknown. You are absolutely right in the positive attitude that you project. In taking "the bull by the horns" and getting your goals in order is an impotant first step to bringing down the doubters and seeing the financial future a bit clearer. With the aid of your staff/teachers a person can only be successful. Good luck Dean and also to everyone else out there!
