Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #191 - Courage to Play in Traffic

Most people will never spend 10 minutes in the middle of a busy city street dodging cars. But if you are serious about your success... I mean really serious, then you will understand why Dean did just that and possibly risked getting injured or killed. When things are hard or scary, it is often a clear indication that you need to press on. This blog explains how to power through the rough times and gives you a simple exercise you can do every day to achieve what you want, leap over obstacles like a superhero and find the courage to overcome.

I am scared...

Wow, ummm...This would be the first time I write down a comment. I guess I can say this is my start of moving forward and doing something totally out of my comfort zone. These videos have helped me, even though it makes me really uncomfortable to get out of the box because of the tons of questions that I make every time I have to do something different. I am really trying, and I know I can do this. It feels good to be part of the DG family. I am afraid, but thanks to Dean, I can overcome this to make me stronger. I just had to post this for me to see how far I have gotten. Thanks for reading.

FAVOR...

Sow-n-Reap's picture

Something tells me while searching in the road for your grandmother's ring you must have had a guardian angel watching over you and gee, I wonder who that could have been??? I believe you know the answer. Some have FAVOR and you certainly do. I thank you for sharing all your knowledge and wisdom. You're a cut ABOVE the rest!!!

weekly wisdom 191 Courage to play in the street

This was absolutely amazing! I had been feeling exactly like some of the things Dean had mentioned and I took the first step put out an offer. I felt alot like Linda, I was nervous, I didnt have a real estate agent and i was scared I would totally mess up, but listening to this blog, I am completely energized to overcome any obsticles and just jump in with both feet. I know it is time. Thanks to everyone for being so wonderful and supportive. I am not alone, I wish I could have everyone in my living room because this type of energy is amazing. I need it thanks to Dean and the cocmplete DG family! Stay encouraged, stay linked into the blogs, and just close your eyes and go for it. I am good luck to all who are getting over their obsticles this week!

BE ENCOURAGED you are an overcomer and will get thru

I know of someone that is in a similar situation. I would say stay in prayer and keep your mind focused. Sometimes when our circumstances are so out of control to us, we allow them to dictate our actions. we become anxious, Please understand, I do not mean to be offensive, the bible tells us as children of God we are to be anxious for nothing and to believe. Read Phil 4:13 and 19. We must change our mindset and remain positive saying, "How can I afford this" and set a plan instead of " I can't afford this." I was homeless with 4 children,(as a single parent) and at the time I thought it was the end of my life, I was angry, hurt, and ashamed but thru my word I learned that I was truly blessed. Phil 1:12-14 I understood that all that I went thru was to prepare me for where I am now and to be a blessing to others. although it may seem hard, look at your circumstances from half full rather than half emtpy all the time and just keep pushing because for every no or rejected offer there is a yes or accepted offer coming. The DG family is here for you and just know when it feels like you are not going to ever make it, that is when your break through is right in front of you. So we must keep going to victorious! lift your head up, we must be thankful for all of the things we do have. we must also stay happy and open no matter what our circumstances may be. I know your situation for i have been there and now we have another home, my children are in college and we are moving forward. We live one day at a time(for some like me one second at a time lol) we must fight, never give up no matter what, be happy, and know/believe that things are going to be better. I hope something that I have said has helped and I will lift you up in prayer. take care

absolutely love your words!

Sometime it takes alittle different style of love to get a person moving. We live with a mind set of just being able and to step out of the box or to broaden your horizon is terifying, but Jen you are so right, we are all worthy and worth having our dreams! We must work and be dedicated to our why but we are worth it and our dreams are too! Thank youso much for your words they have truly inspired me.

God Bless

Thank you

You are awesome! what a blessing to have such a positive person of encouragement. Tina you are great!

thank you!

I will call a for sale by owner ad and make an appointment with a banker this week.
I am reading your Totally Fulfilled book which is great!
I am in a positive cycle of my life when so many blessings are coming to me, and your blogs are one of them.
I have enjoyed memorable times such as this many times! Some have ended abruptly/badly. With your education of limitless beliefs I will face my fears and pray these blessings at this time continue/multiply indefinitely. If I make mistakes I will only allow them to be a positive force in my life! Thank you and enjoy your day!

Mr. Dean, just you doing this Weekly Wisdom, all the Energy and Greatly Inspired Life you have created and worked so hard to bring to all of us, YOUR Dean Graziosi Family, at times is Overwhelming!

This is another Great Message.. Sure, the HAT does look good on you Brother, but the head what it covers knows No Limit and can never be contained by mediocracy! Your manage to find a way to bring something special to us each week.

You know in Hawaii they would say you have Much Aloha! I like that term. Everybody who reads it will read into it the beauty it carries by just saying it. You know what that means too! Thanks for the Wisdom!

Okay, fine...

I will do something this week. It will be finally putting up the bandit signs I got off ebay back in January!
I knew it was bad when I agreed to all save one of the "limits" category of your book I downloaded, and could not agree to any of the "limitless" ones. But, by the time I undergo a transformation through the book, the real estate market will be different! LOL
Thanks dean for the inspriation!

This Weeks Weekly Wisdom

Hi Dean,

First, I am so happy and grateful that you found your Grandmother's ring! I am so glad you shared this experience with us. My second favorite part was when you put up your hand to stop the traffic while you searched to retrieve your WHY, such Power! You took Authority and told those drivers for about ten minutes you will not stop me! You had the Grace to search for your Treasure and the Grace to be protected. Very powerful!

Thank you!

reconfirmation

Nice to read some comments of some of your already insanely successful students here. Even they need a little push and reconfirmation every now and then. Very cool!

I was in San Francisco too!

TeresaJo's picture

Dang! I wish we would have run into each other in San Fran...I was there from July 1-8 visiting my daughter. If I had seen you in the street looking for your Grandmother's ring, I would have helped! LOL! Thanks again for another great weekly wisdom! Back to the real world after my vacation! Smiling

Amazing Motivation!!!

Dean, You deliver great insight and amazing motivation. I did a similar thing with a lighter my wife gave me when we got married. I was driving down I-71 here in Ohio admiring the lighter and enjoying how much it meant to me. I should have put it back in my pocket, but I decided to try a trick to flip it open. Instead, I flipped it right out the window. I forgot where I was and that I was doing 70 MPH, slammed on the brakes, pulled to the side and ran back up the freeway to find my lighter. Luckily, I did. I don't smoke anymore but even after 32 years, I still carry it with me every day. IT represents my how and why.
As for the HAT...it's a little too Jerseylicious. ;0)

You are truly a blessing to us all! For those of us who struggle with our thoughts, I found a great resource to help overcome the doubt and fears we all go through. It's called the 21 Day Mind Boot Camp by Benay Behnke. It will help you get control of your thoughts and life. Best wishes! I love the hat Dean!

IF......................

I tell myself the following when I get discouraged.

If not now.............When? If I do nothing to change then everything stays the same. Same discouragement, same bills, same personal issues, same, same and more of the same. So to break this horrible cycle I ask myself.....

If not me then who???
If not now.........when......NOW!!!!!

Out of money, out of time

propertycircle's picture

Hi! I know what you're saying. I'm in the same boat. I'm thinking that either the properties I'm going after are not motivated enough to sell or my offers are just too low. Right now I'm reworking the numbers to see if there would be a profit & going in with another offer. Don't give up! Maybe you're next offer will be accepted. I feel like I'm running the mile & my legs are just about to give out but I need that extra push to get to the finish line. I think that's where you are too. So don't quit & I'll See you at the finish line! Good Luck! Mary

Totally relate

katylucyb1's picture

When I read about you running into traffic I couldn't imagine what could be so important to risk your life like that! Wow! I can totally relate why you did just that! I would have too! I don't have any family except my 4 cats (yes, I know, some of you may think I'm a crazy cat lady, and yes I am! And proud of it LOL)Anyway, they are my reason for getting up in the morning. I do for them everything I can, and for the stray cats in the neighborhood. They are my WHY! I am disabled but can still get around quite well, just have to take a lot of breaks and sit down. That's when I watch your videos, read the comments, and I get inspired and get up and get moving. I'm always looking for properties, I just get scared and haven't taken the big leap YET! But I will, SOON! I can feel it in my bones! In a good way LOL. Baby steps.... Thanks for all you do and for inspiring me to keep going forward! Peace and God Bless.

Weekly Wisdom -- Courage

So true !!! Thanks Dean !!!

My "Why Not"

As a postal worker I happened to come across the cover page of the recent AARP magazine that has the aged cast of "Dallas" on the cover. It was at that moment that I had a revelation as to why I am having such a hard time getting motivated. Growing up poor in a large family of 6 kids, we saw on TV how rich people were always so hateful and unhappy. I had always told myself I could live in a tent and be happy if I was with happy people. I do not live in a tent but I have been happy except with the struggle for income and the time required to achieve that need. But I have had this fear of having money and the unhappiness that would come with it. I realize that this has been an ingrained false fear and that I am not like the "Dallas" clan. It is OK for me to become rich. There are so many others that I can help now that I see past this road block. I have a loving family that I know will never resemble that silly TV show. Thanks Dean for your continued efforts to help us see past our road blocks.

Hallo Dean!

The very good news is you saved your "why" without troubles!

...How about placing your talisman into a place that makes impossible its loss?

...impressed me a lot how you fight and win your battles, no matter danger! good for you!

From the spiritual point of view, I think your connection with your grandma it might be stronger in your heart and memories (because love is eternal) than in your things.

Your video-exercises are useful!

THAAANK YOU!

GOD BLESS YOU!

to our lives and not let up no matter

Wisdom 191

I want to thank you for the candid advice that you give, you can write another book by compiling them all... I would like to have your the first signed copy.
I have applied your advice in other areas of my life besides getting involved in any investment strategies.
I have taken your course a few months ago and only now beginning the process of compiling a list of cash buyers that I see from signs posted on the side of the road. This delay was due to to the fear that causes us to freeze up though we may have lots of conversation in our head about we want to do. I am now taking baby steps but none the less changing attitudes.
Thanks and you must have had an angel with you looking for granma's ring, thank god you are safe.

Thank you

I have to say thank you, for taking the time to write this. A push to move forward you have given me. Thank you, God Bless.
