Dean Graziosi Weekly Wisdom #191 - Courage to Play in Traffic

Most people will never spend 10 minutes in the middle of a busy city street dodging cars. But if you are serious about your success... I mean really serious, then you will understand why Dean did just that and possibly risked getting injured or killed. When things are hard or scary, it is often a clear indication that you need to press on. This blog explains how to power through the rough times and gives you a simple exercise you can do every day to achieve what you want, leap over obstacles like a superhero and find the courage to overcome.

Love it

as usual!!!! I am addicted to hearing your inspirational words each week Dean Smiling I love how you can personalize everything to help people really grasp what you are talking about - and I'm happy to hear that you got your G'ma's ring back!!!! Wheeew!

I can difintely say that I don't shy away from doing things that make me feel a little uncomfortable, as I'm not afraid to fail or make a mistake. I think where I need to really apply this is to those things that I don't WANT to do for whatever reason. I have to start making my business more of a PRIORITY over other things that I WANT to be doing.

Thanks for the words of wisdom, and I FEEL MY FIRST Deal being right around the corner!!

You're The Man!

You're The Man!

Thanks for the wise advise

I keep listening and learning. I know that soon I will be able to step out and do my first deal. It is kinda hard to make that first step when you have no safety net in case something goes wrong.

If you are not willing to do or even TRY it, and want money handed to you, try the government programs and go for scholarships. You will find you will still have to do work there as well though. Nothing comes without hard work. Unfortunately, if you are not willing to work hard, dedicate yourself to achieving fulfillment, and aren't persistent in your efforts, you're going to get the results you assert. What kind of investment would that be for Dean? I don't say this to be mean, but you are setting yourself up to be the 96-98% that fail.

I find more and more that so many in the current generation want things handed to them and don't want to take th effort or hard work to better themselves. So many have been disillusioned into believing it just gets handed to you for doing little to nothing. I don't blame them; I blame the parents, myself included. Its time to make sure my kids know that they don't just have things magically appear for merely existing. I think because I grew up with nothing I had to learn to make something of myself with what I had and my kids are missing out on that.

Maybe try welfare.

PS. Dean, the hat! Love it!

Good one! When you feel

Good one! When you feel fear is when you should take action! I just love your personality Dean, and I'm glad you didn't get hurt.

Dean, I love the hat!

First of all, I'm so glad you didn't get hit by a car. What would we possibly do without our little spitfire Italian? I for one would be lost without your weekly wisdom videos. So, remember, it's not just your family that depends on you but so do all of us here at DG. WE'RE FAMILY TOO!

Glad you're ok and thanks for another great lesson!

Elena Laughing out loud

It`s awesome!

IrinaF's picture

Thanks Dean, that was exactly what I needed to hear! Great advice! Press forward when exactly when you don`t feel like doing it!
Oh yeah, great story about getting your grandma`s ring back! Wow! You are crazy jumping right in the middle of the busy street, but it`s true - when you have something meaningful, you need to be ready to get it back no matter what happens to it! Awesome!

Ring

I can fully understand...when I turned 16 my mom gave me a ring that she got from her dad (my grandfather) and mom (grandmother) when she turned 16. I never met my grandfather as he died before I was born but the ring meant alot!
One day at work, I looked down and the little diamond was gone! I freaked, stopped waiting on customers and got down on my hands and knees and felt around the carpet for almost 1/2 hour before I found it! So I can imagine how you were feeling but running out into traffic...Wow!Anyway, your guardian angel(s) were looking after you (probably your grandmother) to make sure that you were safe and helped you find the ring that meant soo....much to you. To always remember the "WHY" and to let you know that she is still proud of you. (smile)

Ring Traffic

Dean- Glad you're safe and that the ring came out of the traffic ok without damage. It took courage and proabably a little craziness to run out in the traffic. But it makes one appreciate your reason for your WHY. I hope that others have as powerful WHY as you do. Your guardian angel must really love you alot! Vice versa I'm sure! Great Message though! Glad you got to spend time with family even if it was only 1 day! I'm sure your newphew appreciated it!

YOU ARE SOOOO RIGHT

Thank you Dean you are so right with what you are saying. We have been scared to take the next step, but this week we will find a property to put an offer on.

Your Right its the Fear

Well Dean it's like you are talking to me directly. It's true its the FEAR of doing it wrong, don't want to look stupid. The First of everything or any thing you do, has always been the hardest...I know that once I get the courage up, it will be easy and I will look back and say now that wasn't so hard after all...
Thanks again for great advise and support...

Another Great One - Wish I had 10% of your energy

Like others have said, I'm still having trouble getting it going despite several attempts and the BOTG WebEx last month. I've renewed my committment and stepped up efforts to get it done!

Good suggestion to write down everything we think about on RE during the day but put off until --

I needed this

Hi Dean,

This is a timely post. I was kind of down on myself today because things are a little rocky on a deal that I thought was killer, no one wants. But I learned a lot out of the experience and like you say, if you're lot failing at something, you're not trying hard enough. This video has inspired my to hit the ground running. The heck with them. I'll bring them an even better deal next time! Don't dwell on the bad, realize the why and keep pushing forward. You didn't say, poor me, my ring is gone, you went after it. I get it...I'm not going to let anything get in the way of what I want to achieve!!! I'll keep stretching my comfort zone and not put things off. Sincerely, thank you.

Thanks Dean!

Thanks again, your so right our actions say alot about what goes through our heads, and most of the time our fears keep us from reacting. I will push foward and on the way always relect on "My Whys" Thanks again Dean! Smiling

Great story. So glad you got the ring back!
No one likes to step out of their comfort zone. Forcing ourselJves To push through, and conquering our fears is so satisfying. I reward myself (even if it's small) for doing those things I think I can't. Getting a deal done will certainly be a reward so here's to identifying and pushing through those barriers!
Have a super great week!

Ready to get started!!

I made the decision today to purchase The Event, I'm super excited about it. I have to admit I was paralyzed about getting it at first, but I kept watching your videos having to hype myself up for doing this, that Devil in my ear kept trying to tell me that I couldn't do this, but I am a man of faith and so i took that first step and soon I'll be walking it out as a real estate investor. I'm getting over fear and trusting and believing in my ability to make this happen. Thanks Dean.
