Thinking of you

legaltenderjt's picture

Thanks Dean for such generous gesture in our name. My heart and prayers goes out to those suffering from this catastrophe.

Sandy

I was very lucky. Only lost power for four days and minimal damage from the tree still leaning on my house. We didn’t get the amount of rain that other towns got. When I see the aftermath of the areas closer to the coast I know how fortunate I am. My family is safe and healthy. What more could I ask for?
Thanks for the donation Dean!

God Bless All Affected By Sandy

EagleI's picture

I live in Central PA right where Sandy was originally projected to turn north. I waited at home those long days and nights for the worst. I give thanks to God for the Geography that turned the storm but it breaks my heart to see the damage others suffered. Thank you Dean for reaching out to those in such dire need.

GOD BLESS

FROM MY FAMILY TO YOURS,HOPE ALL YOU STRUGGING FAMILIES STICK TOGETHER AND OVERCOME THESE OBSICLES.

The Perfect storm.

May God bless, and keep you safe. I would like to impart a word of wisdom in your time of recovery.
I hope that you will watch how you respond to the little that you have, or may receive. Do you feel dissatisfied thinking that it's nothing? When you think of something as nothing, it becomes nothing and you attract more of nothing into your life. But when you rejoice and give thanks as if the little were a big deal, it starts to become a big deal. When you give thanks for something, you bless it. It becomes better in quality and quantity until it builds up as a flood of abundance flowing into our life. Give thanks for everything. I know it isn't going to be easy, but the sooner you begin to bless what you do have the sooner you will have more.
Do not give your attention to the bad things or that is what you will have more of. Above all focus on love. Love your friend, love your neighbor, love the stranger on the street who is struggling the same as you. Take no more then you need and give what you can, and you can help pull everything back together. Relax, breath deep, know that God is with you, and take one step, one minute, one day at a time. You are in the prayers of many.

God Bless and Blue Skies,
Sandy K.
Sorry about the name, blame my mom and dad. LOL
Please feel better!

Hurricane Sandy

My prayers go out to everyone who was affected by Hurricane Sandy whether your loss was small or great. Living in California, I've never had to experience anything like that, but my grandson is currently living in Queens. He called me the next morning and said that he was fine and they still had power. The only damage they sustained was the roof of a shed in the backyard blew off. He took a walk around Manhattan that day and took some pictures which he posted on Facebook and it was devastating! One thing he also said was he stopped to talk to an elderly gentleman whose house had a tree fall on it. When he asked him about the damage, the gentleman said "Well, what are you going to do? It's just nature!" I thought, what a wonderful attitude that gentleman had! Most of us would probably be crying "Why me!"

Thank you, Dean, for what you are doing and God bless you and all the people on the East Coast!
