Hurricane Sandy

Our thoughts and prayers go to everyone that has endured the effects of hurricane Sandy. I have been very fortunate, never having to live through such a life changing event. Many of us take for granted the basics like...electricity, clean water, gas at the pumps, food on the shelves at the grocery store. May everyone affected find some peace in your current situation, may the area rebuild quickly, and may your family and friends be by your side during these trying times.

Keeping everyone in our prayers,

Thoughts and Prayers For The Hurricane Victims

I am a Florida resident who up to 5 years ago lived in central Pennsylvania. I had vacationed at a number of beaches in New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland during my life and enjoyed them all. Upon seeing the devestation that was done to many beach communities, my thoughts and prayers are with the residents as they struggle to rebuild their homes and lives.

Great Idea

Thoughts and prayers to all of the victims and grateful someone is reaching out!

Thoughts and prayers and

Prayers for all the victims of Sandy

Hello-
My thoughts and prayers go out to all the victims, and every one whose life was touched by this devastating storm. I am from New York and many of my relatives still live there.
My daughter and son in law, along with my 2 granddaughters live in Virginia. I was in Virginia visiting them the week before the storm hit. My daughter sent me pictures of the places that we had been while I was there and the areas were leveled and under water. It was so sereal that I was there a few days before it hit. My prayers go out for a speedy recovery of all the devastated areas and for all the families.
God Bless!

You Go Dean---

You seem to always be helping those people who have been displaced or some going through a tragic event.

It's good to see that someone with your means does help instead of just

talking about it! So, hopefully, the rest of your entourage helps too.

When your dreams and future seemed to be in question is when its time to dig into your faith'
The faith of knowing this is only a set back and
not the end. The faith of knowing millions of people care about what has happened and will be
helping to aid in your recovery. And please know
that you have the strength and fortitude to pull through this overwhelming situation if you'll ask
God to be there with you this day and every day. God's blessings and peace with all of you.

Sandy

My sister in law and 2 neices came to stay with us in Chesterfield, England to attend the wedding of our daughter. It was a wonderful day which they enjoyed very much. They also had a great couple of weeks shopping and seeing the sights of our town and surrounding area. When they returned home to New Jersey they had to prepare for another wedding. My youngest neice was also getting married (sadly we were unable to attend). She and her new husband actually married on the day that Sandy hit the New Jersey Shore. At least they won't forget their wedding day. After the wedding they all had to leave in a hurry. Their house is now gone, but at least they are all ok. We finally managed to get through to them on a mobile after 4 days of not knowing. Whilst it's sad that many people were not so lucky, we should thank The Lord that so many others were spared. Our thoughts and hearts go out to them.

In everyones struggles in this time in life we tend to forget how blessed and fortunate we are to have a roof over our head with lights and water running any time we want a drink, even tho its a challenge each month to keep it . Unfortunately it takes a tragedy of sort to snap us back where we belong and Thank God for our struggles and pray for things to get better. But for now we lucky ones need to step back and give you our families on the East coast all of our prayers ,love and hope that our God is with them and will take care.Thankyou Dean for this opportunity to help. God Bless You

STRENGTH

I can do everything through him who gives me strength. - Philippians4:13 Our Heavenly Father, I pray for the Holy Land on the eastcoast of The United States of America to be restored abundantly, from the disaster of Hurricane Sandy. The peace, stability, and joy that has been taken from life is confusing for some. I pray, dear Lord, for all who has been affected by tragedy. I pray for peace in mind and for all eyes to seek you, GOD. I pray for all hearts to be filled with love, joy, and understanding. I pray for all wounds, sickness, and disease to be healed. By the grace of GOD I declare for this to happen instantly, as your miracles and blessings are. I speak these things in agreement with anyone reading this prayer, who is filled with the holy spirit, and with you GOD, because when two or more are in agreement, then it shall be done. GOD Bless you Dean and your family for generations to come for prosperity and good health. In jesus name AMEN and AMEN.

Sandy

I'm up here in the Northeast. I had it easy. I lost power for just over a day and there was some damage to a classic truck we own but all my family members are safe and things are already back to normal. I can't believe so many people lost their lives. Posting here is the least I can do in thanks for my good fortune. My heart goes out to all those who lost their homes, or worse, a family member.

Kate

Keeping you in our thoughts and prayers

To those who lost their houses, you may have lost sticks and bricks to the weather, but a home is not made of sticks and bricks. A home is made up of the love of family and friends, be it the family that you were born into, the family that you have chosen for yourself, or the people that have chosen to love you. We are all thinking of you in your time of need and pray for your safety and protection.

And to those who lost loved ones, and to those still waiting to hear from a family member or friend, know that you too are in our thoughts and prayers.

Finally, we would like to say thank you to those that are at this very moment helping out others in need. Your kindness to strangers and friends is an inspiration to us, thank you for being our heroes.

Thanks Dean

Thoughts and prayers

Family Investors's picture

My prayers have been going out to all my family and friends on the East Coast.
Some have had their homes and cars damaged. Some losses more severe than others. All have lost power for over a week now. Some continue to have no power. There has been food lost but no loss of life. Thank God.

Family and friends have been touched by others who have lost family members in this tragic Hurricane.

New Yorkers are a hardy breed. They will survive this as well as we have survived and surpassed other things. Keep your heads up and hopes high.

Love and Light

Sending love and light to the East Coast and everyone who was hit hard by Sandy. Please know that there are so many praying for you and your families. Be well and God bless!

Praying for Victums of Sandy

Sometimes events are so big we feel we can do nothing. But "The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective". (James 5:16b (NIV) Then there are those like Dean who go the extra mile and money does help!! Thank you Dean for your concern and involvement. God Bless You and may God help those who are hurting.

Thank you Dean and everyone

I live on Long Island. I was one of the fortunate ones. I lost electricity for 5 1/2 days. No hot water, no heat and it was getting colder each night. Although it was hard, it was only an inconvience compared to people near the shores. Many have lost everything. So, thank you Dean for coming up with such a wonderful idea to help those in need. And thank all of you for commenting so as to help with Dean's generous contribution. God bless.

Hurricane Sandy

My thoughts and prayers are with everyone affected by hurricane sandy! Rise up and Stay strong east coast family. We love you!! GOD BLESS and thank for making this happen.
