Hey everyone. It's Tony, I'm going to reveal the name of some pretty happy people in a minute, the SPIFF scholarship recipients.
Why me and NOT Dean?
Well, I've sort of hijacked DG.com today.
You see, Deano has locked himself away to work on his new book, after spending so much time eating delicious birthday cake last week, and since he isn't around, I get to tell you some stuff without asking his permission.
Starting with Friday.
After seeing the video surprise, Deano was walking around the office looking pretty darn emotional.
I mean he wasn't crying or nothing, he's a tough guy and all that, but you could see in his face how touched he was about what had happened.
The student’s video, the whole Scholarship deal.
It is pretty amazing when you think about it right?
The fact that STUDENTS, people just like you and me came together and selflessly pulled cash out of their own pockets to create a scholarship fund for others.
I mean who does that? Have you EVER heard of anything even similar to that with any other real estate teacher?
No way!
I think that is what compelled him and all of us to move so lightening fast and have this just in time for Thanksgiving!
Starting Friday, dozens and dozens of applications for the Students Pay It Forward Scholarship were submitted.
By Monday there were hundreds!
Tuesday, the team busted their humps pouring over every last one of them, and found the persons who would be the first recipient (and two runners up)!
In a minute I'll tell you who it is, but first I want to make a few points of my own while I have the floor. 
Now, I'm not the greatest at math, but it doesn't take an Einstein to pick up on this little gem.
Take a look:
- It was less than 5 days ago that this cool scholarship was announced.
- 7 plus successful students of Dean's, were a big part of creating this scholarship by donating their own money!
In the first 48 hours we had HUNDREDS of people submit applications.
That tells me three things:
1. Everyone realizes the value of Dean's Real Estate Success Academy training.
2. The Students Who have already went through the Academy training know how valuable it was to them, or they wouldn't consider putting up their Own $$$ to pay For A Strangers Tuition!
and...
3. Everybody else wants it free.
Well, we have chosen the 1st recipient and it is:
21 year old Alex Rodriguez.
The two runner ups were:
Shane Weller and Bruno Versaci
Congratulations!
Unfortunately we were only able to give one scholarship out.
So what happens if you didn't get selected?
You have to make a choice.
Look, winning a scholarship is nice, but what if you don't? That doesn't have to ruin your goals or even keep you out of the Academy.
It's the one reputable real estate training program where you'll have one-on-one help and guidance to get you off your butt and out there doing the deals.
AND - the only program to actually refund your tuition after you complete your first five deals. (No kidding -ask one of our Academy instructors about that or ask Rina, Matt Larson, Chip and Andrea and so many others her at this site who were success academy students who got all their tuition back).

I'm sure its great..........however...
I'm sure the Academy is Great; I've read many positive things about it; and would certainly like to join myself someday. However-if you took an informal poll; I'm willing to bet MOST of the people attempting this program CANT qualify because they dont have the funds (in my case-my company is dissolving); or cant afford the initial debt burden; etc. What we really need is a grassroots option for those of us (Many of us) who cant do the Academy at this time; but need direction/guidance nonetheless so we can get a couple of deals thereby enabling us to join the Academy in the near future. These are my thoughts; anyway.

Dean I have had the great opportnity to speak with Maria who is trying to get me set up with the Success Academy Interview. I have been excited before getting and reading your book and even more so now that I have had the chance to start reading it. I am really excited to get started but because my credit is so bad, Maria thought it best I try to come up with some money to get enrolled in the Academy first. I don't dare try to start doing any deals with out knowing what the right type of forms that are needed and so on. These things I can get great guidance on from the coaches that come with the Success Academy. You have no idea how I want to start to find and close a deal before Christmas, so I could give a 10th of that profit to God who blessed me with the opportunity to see your infomercial. I strongly believe that God has given me this opportunity to make money through using Real Estate Investing as a vehichle not to just take care of my family but to utilize the funds made to get His ministry started and further His kingdom by winning souls for Christ.
Please if there is a way to safely start to make money without having money and without feeling nervous about paperwork, tell me!!! I look forward to this Thursday. In the mean time I am already getting started on designing flyers and a business card design to start my marketing here in New York City.

I feel lost because I have been involved since September of this year with Dean's great Real Estate opportunity and have done nothing with it. I don't have the funds to get involved in the Success Academy although Maria has been trying to help me get into the Academy but, I've failed there because each time I thought I would have the money to put in to just start me off, I have to use it for my family or a family member in need. And to now find out that because of my not having time to check my emails all November practically, I missed out on this GREAT!!! new idea of the " Students Pay It Forward Fund Scholarship" program. But I now sit here not knowing how I can get into the Academy seeing that I have no funds to do so. Can anyone tell me how I can perhaps start a deal or maybe even how to start something to maybe even get a finders fee, so I can take what I make to put a down payment on my tuition? I really want to do this and am willing to commit the time needed to be successful so I can help others as God has called me to do. I am doing it with the little I make but, it leaves me with nothing at the end. But thank God I know He has a blessing waiting for me. If any one has any ideas please let me know.
