Has anyone gone thru the Dean's Success Team Committment program?

Has anyone gone thru the Dean's Success Team Committment program?

I am fairly new to all of this and have recently read "Be Real Estate Millionaire". I'm excited to get started but wonder if anyone has gone through Dean's "Success Team Program"? I'm debating whether it's worth spending the money and if anyone else has done it. Please let me know what you think.

I would prefer to put that kind of money towards a down payment unless you feel you simply won't do ANYTHING without it.

I'm probably similar to

I'm probably similar to others in that I can't decide where to start. I've read most of the posts on this site and the book. Coming up with some of the forms and making sure all is legal is a concern. The course or "Sucess team" sounds great, but I don't really have that much money sitting around (at all),and I'm always afraid that I'm sort of being taken (so to speak). Thanks for your input.

I started the course about 2

I started the course about 2 weeks ago and I'm very, very happy with it. There's a ton of information, and I've learned a tremendous amount. Though I haven't had a chance to use the coaching staff too much yet, cbrpower said that's what got him started a couple of years ago, was a great coach he ended up with. You can't go wrong with the program. I know of 2 people so far that say they were refunded their tuition cost promptly after their 5th deal (within the time period alotted). Just the experience of going through it would be worth it to me, since you would make many times over that amount in the profits you make in real estate from what you learn. I totally agree, though, that the program is not NECESSARY to make money in real estate. Just a great tool.

I have to say the greatest motivation for me, though, has been Dean's book! I can really appreciate his view on life. He is fired up about making money in real estate and yet, at the same time, has a heart for people. He truly is an inspiration.

I wish you well,
Rina

Dean's Coaching Programs

Can anybody comment on any of the coaching programs?
Is it a good or necessary investment?
Sucessful results or otherwise?
Are there sucessful investors that did not use or need the coaching?

Rina,

Rina,

I appreciate your response. Just to be sure that we're talking about the same program; I was told by the staff that they would provide me with the info, i.e, preforeclosures in my area (which I have access to now) and other information and would walk me through the process of each type of transaction step by step (for 5 real estate transactions), and I'm assuming give me info for proper forms/documents to use. My understanding is that they allow up to six months for the 5 transactions to take place and they keep in contact with you throughout. Is this the program you invested in?

thanks in advance for assisting me with all of my questions.
Laurie

Same program.

Same program. I invested a little more because I wanted help with the business part, too. But I'm very impressed so far. I've done 2 transactions so far since I started. I'm confident I'll get all 5 in. They have what they call a warrantee/guarantee. I'll look up exactly what it was and get back to you.

Nice talking with you.

Rina

I probably would call upon a real estate agent and find out if the agent knows of any investors that would be willing to coach for a much less fee. That's what i am going to do upon the sale of my home. Cindy

Coaching Program

I am about to proceed with the program. Hey, it is a bunch of money that is true, but to get the upper hand sounds like it is worth it. If you go out there without the proper knowledge, you can do some serions damage to yourself and your wallet or purse as it may be. I do not have a ton of cash laying around trust me, but with just Dean's book I feel we will get to a certain point and just spin our wheels. 5 deals in a certain amount of time seems like it is pushing the envelope though. Anyway, I am going forward with the program and I hope to meet some of you at a meeting in the tropics somewhere, and I won't be in a hurry to get home!!!!Jan

Refund

Hi, i am also fairly new with this success team. I just recently signed up to be coached by them. I was wondering about the refund process. After you complete the 5 transactions you can ask for your money back? I don't quite understand how you would get your investment back.
Please help.

Thanks

My understanding is that you

My understanding is that you must send in proof of 5 transactions (possibly within the 6mos period, not sure about the timeline) and then you will get your refund. I start the orientation tomorrow and I'm looking forward to getting started. How is it going with you? Do you find that you are learning alot?

Well actually Laurie, I have

Well actually Laurie, I have my orientation with a coach later this week on Thursday. I was a little hesitant. To make a decision over the phone was a little nerve tingling. I was just hoping that these guys were legit. I was also concerned about putting that kind of $ on my credit card that i don't have to pay back so I'm hoping to get started soon so i can get that paid.
I hope everything goes well for you tomorrow. Please post and let me know how it went!

Thanks,

You bet. I'll let you know

You bet. I'll let you know how it goes. I really want to get moving on this and I figure the coaching/mentoring will steer me in the right direction (many right directions) and teach me alot.

I went through the coaching

I went through the coaching. But, before I did I decided to check out the internet to see what the critics said about getting my refund upon finishing the deals needed. All these critics laughed and made fun of the fact that Dean's program would actually pay you back if you did the required deals. The weird thing is nobody on those sites ever listed their whole names so I figured if they didn't have the guts to stand behind their opinion then they wouldn't be a good source of information. Long story short is this, I went through the program, learned a ton of information, had help whenever I needed it, and took action. I did over 20 deals in the last 2 plus years and have more cashflow every month coming in than what the coaching originally cost. Oh yeah, and I was sent a check back in full as soon as I completed the deals. Was it worth it? I would say so. Before Dean's program, I never even owned a house, I always lived in apartments.

Cbrpower, Thank you so much

Cbrpower,

Thank you so much for the information. It's just what I'd hoped to hear. I'm ready to begin the program tomorrow.

Congrats on all of your success!

Hi, i had a question

Hi, i had a question regarding the coaching program. I was told that they would send me a commitment letter that i would have to complete and sign. They told me they would sent it to my email address. I have not received it yet and i was told it would be sent out within an hour of signing onto the program.
Did any one else get told this after signing to the program and paying the investment fee?

Any help would been appreciated!

Thank you,

Now that you mention it, I

Now that you mention it, I don't remember seeing one either. We should call about that. Let me know if you hear something. I'll do the same.

Thank you LBN! We are looking forward to reading about your first experience with the program and that letter that was mentioned.

I will watch you all and try to get with the program too!

I cannot afford to pay that amount of money for the program Sad but I am certainly excited for all those who have put their money where their mouths are, and stepped out there.
I am sure you will all do just great and I am going to come back to this page at every chance to hear more from you on how the program works and how you are doing.
Thanks for all the posts. I geel even more confidence just from reading your comments.

I had my orientation on 4/30

I had my orientation on 4/30 via the internet. I already feel like I've learned some things that I didn't know before. So far, I'll have to say that I believe I made the right decision in signing up for the program. I realize that there are people who may be able to be successful without the course/Success team, however, for me this may be the way to go because I will gain much useful information and know how.

As far as the "committment letter", mentioned in the previous post, evidently, the first staff members that take us through the process talk about our committment to the program. I understand that although we should identify what our committment is, we don't sign a letter. It is for our own benefit to know our goals, i.e., short term and long term goals and our timeline, etc. That is what is meant by the committment letter (from what I understand).

Hope this is useful info.

Laurie

Congratulations!

Laurie,
Congratulations on starting the program! Thanks for asking about the committment letter for us.
Keep us up on your thoughts about the program, and have fun!

Sincerely,
Rina

Everybody will be able to afford the coaching soon!

The Instant Equity Exchange idea that Dean's group has pioneered is going to change real estate investing as we know it. Just one deal would create enough cash to be able to invest in the coaching program. Keep your eyes open. I am currently working on this idea very hard. If you just get good at one thing-get good at the Instant Equity Exchange!

Equity Exchange?

Sorry to ask but what is this Equity Exchange idea that you are talking about?
I looked around the site but could not find it.
Just tell me what link to use on this site and I will take a look.
Thanks

New Program

I have heard that Dean has implemented a new program where you can get into the coaching for so much down and so much a month until your first deal where upon you would pay the amount due, wether it be 4K or whatever your level you committed to. Wondering if anyone else has heard the same?

Success Program

I too am on the fence about the program, i can't really afford it right now, but knowledge is priceless so... I will just keep doing what i was trained to do and raise some $$$$, then take it from there. To all in the program and everyone else good luck!!!

COACHING PROGRAM

Aren't there several different companies that provide this service for dean ?

coaching I mean.

I feel it will be worth it I just received deans "profit" book tonight at 7pm cdt. I also purchased the audiobooks for "profit" and "barm" so I have pretty much read (or listened as the case may be) to the whole thing, I'm up to chapter 9 now. I will finish it tomorrow. by the way I did get student secrets in my package with my book. I am soooo psyched, I believe in dean so much I have always wanted to invest in real estate and I can feel it in my bones this it, i'm about to do it. this is meant to be for me. I look forward to thumbing my nose at all the naysayers when I'm in deans next tv show. GREG MURPHY AND I WILL SHOUT DEANS PRAISE FROM THE ROOFTOPS IN MISSISSIPPI ABOUT OUR SUCCESSES.............

p.s. I'm from mississippi also.

ALSO RINA, ANITA, AND MATT ETAL. GOD BLESS YOU, THANKS FOR ALL YOU DO
