Success with AFF?

I am curious to know the same thing as Erica. It sounds good, but the skeptic in me wants to hear/see results. If the results are there I can see it being a great addition to what I'm looking at doing.

I have purchased the AFF system and would like to use someone elses outgoing message. I am particularly interested in the "FREE 24 HOUR RECORDED CONSUMER INFORMATION LINE pre-recorded message."
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I have the program and I have found it to be very useful. AYG123 what I did for the message was sign up with COA telecenter. It is an awesome tool and if gives you the ability to use 1 of 2 messages that are already loaded into the system. There is an awesome training call when you sign up that walks you through the program. In the kit there are also the scripts for the message you are talking about. I direct most people to my website but on my business cards I created I also have my telecenter number so people can call listen to the message and then leave their information. I have collected a lot of leads so far. I haven't actually bought a foreclosure yet because I live in Phoenix, AZ and most of the people who have called so far were upside down in their property (they owed more than it was worth). I am speaking with one couple now who I think I am going to be able to negotiate a short sale with. I am talking to their bank on Monday so we will see how that goes. Stan the info on the website question was asked a little earlier this morning. Go to WHATS NEW and scroll through there and you will find you answer to that question, as far as the 800 number you did not say what 800 number or VM you were talking about.

I bought the AFF program over two months ago. When it arrived I was a little confused about how to start and spent a lot of time emailing customer support with questions. (I actually think I may have influenced some of the improvements they’ve made because I pestered them so much. lol). Anyway, once I understood that I need to set up the recorded message line and did that, then I had to decide which of the finder thingy’s to use…I forget at the moment the term they use, but I mean the
ads and marketing stuff included in the program. So anyway, I started on May 2nd with flyers that I created based on the ones in the program, putting them in 3 neighborhoods around my home. I paid a teenager from my church $10 per hundred to put these flyers out for me. He has a car and he drove to each neighborhood, then distributed the flyers on roller blades so it was easy for him. It would have taken me DAYS to do 500 flyers and he had them done in one afternoon. I used three different flyers and so far I’ve gotten about 40 calls and at least 7 of them look real promising, but I still have a lot more work to do. I am going to continue to sort through all of my leads and I will keep you posted on my success, as I'm sure to have some deals lined up very soon. I gave in and bought the AFF the other day. I spent a few hours trying to understand it then I finally caught on. I produced flyer's from the program and will be printing them on tomorrow for distribution. I gave the 4closurealert thing a go and did not like that very much but I have a feel for this one. It kind of sucks you in with the great marketing tools and stuff. Actually its quite fun. Try it

I am seriously considering the AFF system BUT do not want to be sucked in slowly to find out that you need to spend more & more with each step before getting anything out of it. Sooooooo:

Can someone guide me as to the total investment needed to start this? e.g 800 phone line, Website, Is website ready to use or do I need to design it? Any costs in customizing the web site for my use? Dean talks about Google ads - how expensive/effective are they?
I would also appreciate the any input on the services you have used and your experience (Good/bad/recommend or not. Flyers and distribution is not an issue. I am looking for any hidden costs ta put my business plan toether.

You seem to have a pretty decent hit ratio - 40 calls for 500 flyers with 7 good leads! Great work - How did you choose the neighborhood and what price range are these houses in?

I got miine with my package. There is a page in there that will give you your temporary user name and password. But if you call customer service before you get package they can give it to you over phone. It may have already come, like mine did, but went to junk mail and got deleted.

I know- doing pretty well I couldn't believe how much success I've already had to start. I actually used Dean's other program, the Foreclosure Alert system to find where most of the foreclosures are happening. I distributed flyers to those people after doing my search. I must say, it is a great tool to have both programs. It really came in handy for me. All of the houses are in the 100k-200k price range. Wish me luck.
