Here we go Edge Event!!!

John and I are so looking forward to the Edge Event this year! Last year was our first year, and it was life changing in so many ways.

I am excited to see everyone. It is unreal how many people we have come to know since last year's Event.

Can't WAIT!!! Let's start building the excitement! WOOT WOOT!!

But you know seriously some I've gotten close to, built relationships and connections with on DG that honestly it kinda FEELS like I'm going home in April. (so technically since I'll be flying in on my bday (26th) instead of the whole "going home for Christmas", I'll be coming home for my bday!) LOL
Really are more family than some that are actually. sad but true!

I CAN'T wait to meet the one's (Dean and Matt) that because of them my life is forever changed! (WARNING: I will do my BEST NOT to cry on you, but can't solemnly swear to it!)

SO EVERYONE THERE IS STILL TIME, YOU CAN GET IT DONE SO YOU DON'T MISS ANOTHER YEAR! It's a choice........

We hope to be there. We do have a big move coming up. Moving from California to Florida. We or about 50% sure of the move.

If you are thinking about going and you have the time to go do so. We went to the 2011 Edge event and had a great time. We hope to make it but if not it will be for a better REI journy.

I have to work out child care and such; but its not confirmed exactly how I'm going and if the whole family will be going again. If anyone wants to go in on childcare, please contact me.

Can't wait to go again! This is my 2nd one I'm attending (the little medals at the left of me show I went in 2010, but I never did)

Will be happy to see everyone again and get to network afterhours more this time. A year makes a big difference in kids ages so I'm hoping I'll have more me time

Yes we are reserving our airline tickets to arrive early Thursday so we should meet there!

How old is your kid? We have a 3 year old and would love to take him there. I am sure he will love being in the pool and such. We have my wife family here, but would like to take him there as this hotel is a nice place.

We will be going to the greater Orlando area. we hope to still make the Edge this year. We just have so much going on.

I went to last years edge for just one day (Sunday), it was great but I missed meeting a lot of folks so I plan to arrive as early as possible this year. Looking forward to meeting Val and everyone else that I have followed on this site.

I have a 3,4, 11 and will be 13 year old and by the time of the event. The 13 and 11 year old can handle watching the kids if they aren't mean to them. The sibling rivalry seems to rear its ugly head after 4 hours though, so I hire a sitter from the agency Dean's wife gave me last year for the remaining hours. I usually rent a house (3/2 last year was $110/night) when I travel anywhere; its cheaper, bigger and works MUCH better with all those kids. LOL But, its not the best for after Edge networking; I may be more comfortable with having the sitter there later this time.

But, the kids pool at the firesky is awesome.

Also, we're looking for judges and donations to make this happen!

Take a lot of notes, network with as many as you can, listen and learn! This is a great opportunity to really get a jumpstart to a great year in real estate! The Edge is a place to make life long contacts and most importantly it can be that "push" that many need to step up and TAKE ACTION.
