Hi,
I am 18 years old and have been interested in making money since birth. Me and My brother have put into work our own business and are training to take over my parents business while going to college. When I saw dean on TV, he seemed so confident that his method would work that I bought it! My parents own their own financial advisory firm, so when Dean compared real estate today like microsoft's stock at 5$, I was sold. I thought even if I can't do this I will learn a lot in the process. I have read the first 3 chapters of the book, and I don't know if I can do this...can I?

Regarding your age you will run into more difficulties than most. I'm only 20, so I've run into a lot of real estate agents, sellers, and banks not taking me seriously. I just look at it as more people telling me I can't do something and it motivates me. If you are serious enough about it, and you have the drive to do it, then there is no way you can fail. Congratulations on getting started early and good luck.
I am only 23, so heck yeah you can...Age has nothing to do with it...It may be harder to get people to take you serious, but you will find somebody that will...As long as you act mature, and carry yourself well, you will be fine...Other than that, age is just a number

I know people at 18 who are more mature then the ones at 3-. You are never too young.

Congratulations on reading Dean's book and being part of the DG website. The earlier you start your investing career the better. I bet almost everyone that has invested in real estate wish they would have started earlier. It will give you options of what you want to do with your life and maybe even let you retire bedfore 30!
Just learn all you can and keep moving forward. The education will be priceless. The first deal may be the hardest but they will get easier and your confidence with grow from there. Keep reading Dean's book and re-read it again to get the tidbits you missed the first time. Good luck on all your deals! Believe and Achieve! Indiana-Joe

My daughter will is 18 as well and she is working with me. All it takes is drive and the desire to really make your efforts to a better life happen. Don't let anyone tell you that you cant do this because you can at any age.

My son is 17 and works real estate almost everyday. He is really good at walking through a house and quoting a price to the owner. He is really sharp and the homeowners are impressed by such a young man being able to work real estate. He has been working RE with me since he was 16.
So you are not too young. You are the perfect age to start the business.
Good luck!

Too young to Dream? NEVER!!!! Take this opportunity and run as fast as you can!
So many of the young generation are not even looking at short term goals. They are caught up in material things. The fact that you are looking at your long term goals, is Amazing. When an opportunity comes with this magnitude, you open the door and welcome it. Impower yourself with Dean's program. Don't listen to negativety. Go for your dreams! Let's do this! Much Success........... Lubertha

Well the response that I am feeling is that I shouldn't be afraid to start early, and that it is actually better to start now! Everyone is really encouraging, but the pattern that I see in the most successful RE investors is that they commit to the plan and work really hard for the first couple months even year! I believe that deans way really will work if you commit and stay focused! Thanks again for the encouragement!
