One of the ways we've leaned that is truly a big Pos. upper. is to give back!!AND one of the things My wife and I are going to do with profits from our success is go volunteer in Belize in Februry for two weeks in an orphanage. Why, because we CAn!! AND because we can take our clinical skills (physical therapy and mental health) and we believe we can make a difference in the lives of some people in a third world country who otherwise would never have any opportunity.

positives for today...by the way...that is great way to give back, and help others...that is really nice...I hope to someday do something with my profits eventually...getting there is hard, but it will be well worth it when I do.

-still waiting for the approval for the multifamily home...waiting on the bank, so that is still good in my eyes

-may take a day trip to Boston in a couple weeks with a friend, so that is something to look forward too...

-work went well today, cause I am not letting it keep me down

-things are seeming to come together even more...its a wonderful thing looking back sometimes at how far I have come...

my positives so far

-got a response to my ad I placed on one of the properties trying to do a double closing on...

-another offer will be going in soon on a bank owned property, that if accepted, we will try a double closing with that property as well...

-couldn't sleep last night, cause I was to excited about what is going on right now...woke up a bunch of times thinking about things...

positives for today

-things seem to be rolling much better than they were

-day off from work

-dentist appointment yesterday went well

-the girl who answered my ad seems great...sent us another property actually(being upfront is great)and seems very nice and down to earth...wants us to actually buy a property and rent it to her...so she sounds like she isn't in the predicament to buy(but we shall see)

-should have atleast one offer going in today, and bunch more soon after in the next couple days

-knowing one of the sellers, we are able to work around an agent that wants the "easy" deal and is being a pain.

-family is well

-going out with my sister and her friend Friday, so that should be fun

-maybe taking a day trip in a couple weeks to Boston with a friend cause she likes random trips and bringing me along

positivity is key

-had another lady email me that is possible interested in both properties...PRAYING SHE IS

-work went well, although a crazy day

-meeting with agent little later to get some info, and will put together more offers after meeting

-couldn't sleep last night cause been so excited and nervous about the deals that are in the works

I don't recall who it was that originally said it, but they said it the best. This is my most favorite of quotes:

Everytime I read, or recite, this quote, I remember the journey that I'm traveling. My mother can agree that I wasn't meant to be another sheep amongst the flock. Nor were any of us that are a part of this community. We want more, We always have. And we will always strive for more. Some would call it "greed", but we all look at it as "persistence".

Thanks everyone for the encouragement by your video links, fabulous deals and words of motivation. We cannot help but congratulate Marc, Alana, aerialist and all of the many DG members for their successes. It only goes to show the REI is achievable and attainable.

My positives of the day:

- Work was great, did some cleaning in the office.
- Thanks God it is Friday, late sleeping tomorrow.
- It rained all day, how great. Would have preferred being in bed under the covers. The broken umbrellas on the sidewalk, would attest that it was also windy.
All in all it was a wonderful day.

My name is Ginny7 looking forward to getting started in Real Estate and Becoming Financially Set for Life. I am looking at buying a Home, which would be my very first Home Purchase to call my own home. I am 49, and I understand how some of this buying and selling works by your comments here. Sounds pretty easy to master. I will order the book and read it from cover to cover, I read Deans life story. I really want to commend him for putting this all together to make a better life for himself and others..and giving others the opportunity to do the very same thing. I do not know him nor any of you, but we can only gain from this if only we take a chance to succeed. Nothing comes from taking no action, but everything comes from taking some kind of action to make a difference in your life and others. And thats obvious what this gentleman has done here. The old saying is, you can feed a man a fish, but if you teach him to fish, he can not only feed himself, but also feed others and teach them to fish too! So they can feed themselves and others. I will give this book a chance to make a difference in my life. I look forward to owning my own home. And the chance to own property that will bring me cash flow for later times to come. Thank you for reading my thoughts on this site.

Whew, what I crazy week I had with no time to visit the site except for a quick look to be sure I wasn't missing an important Dean message. Just been reading this a.m. some disturbing stories in the news that show how many people in this country are feeding off of anger and fear and creating an enourmous amount of negativity and hate, which generates more anger and fear and hate. I admit to having trouble understanding how there are people that feel it's better to dwell in the negative and remain angry and miserable than to choose to find positive and be happy. And before anyone may think "you don't understand what its like to have __ happen, etc." we all have had our share of bumps in the road, Major and minor, and I've had my share of negative feelings as well in my lifetime. CHOOSING to be positive is always better, as is taking positive action. And those are choices we all have to make every day, every minute, every second.

So, thank you for letting me say what I had to say because the two articles I read this morning, which capsulized what I've been seeing around me and online and on tv & radio, made me sad. But I'm choosing to see and KNOW that more positive things will win out as I do believe that the majority of people are positive people.

So my positives for today are that I'm having lunch with an old friend that I haven't seen in eight years, and I'll attending a party that celebrates a good friend's milestone birthday.

I have been slacking apparently...But so much going on...All good stuff for the most part...

So positives for today

- 3 deals locked up within the next couple days...but 1 property I think is going to be very hard to move

- multifamily is basically at its end...closing very soon, but not sure of date yet

-23 years old, buying my own house using my credit, and something I have been working hard at, and accomplishing

-had an awesome day in Boston, took ferry to Salem, then partied in Gardner Mass over the weekend...Was so nice to get away and enjoy a good friend, and the city

-Bret Michaels of Poison is coming to a fair, so going to see him DEFINITELY

- working hard, and want to buy more properties cause thats on the goal list

go to Youtube and do a search on this type of relaxation when you need some moments to relax. It helped me yesterday. Music is amazing in many ways.

Doctor's visit.
- I thank God for shelter, food and a place to lay my head.

I am new to all of this, just getting started, looking for buyers, and I have lots of property all around me here in my little town. Lots of People around here are selling there properties. I would love to get finders fees for buyers who may be interested in properties around my area. I feel that I can do this system. My goal is to capital then I can turn around and buy properties with little money down and rent out for positive cash flows and hold and sell later when market picks back up. I also have a strong desire to make enough money to buy my first home for myself. I want to keep investing in properties and keep cash flow coming in always. I said Never Give up,no matter what, we have to keep on keeping on. Life is so full of potential we need only to apply ourselves with what we learn in life to make it worth our wild. I have been through alot in my life, but I am still trying to find ways to Succeed. I love that I can and will be able to get what I want out of life by applying what I am learning here. So with that said, I will be getting started shortly.

My attention has been pulled onto other things for about a month and I've only been able to be on the site in tiny spurts. I've missed this positives posting forum!

So, my positives for today are:
Though it's quite chilly I love fall. And the cool weather turned my attention back to knitting and I've started a new project.

I continue to work everyday on my Real Estate career -- taking action steps every day --and learning something new each day as well.

Looking forward to an RE conference call I've set up for the end of the week with the REI group I began on this site.

I have been so busy, and haven't really been on here to much lately, but here are my positives

-work is going decent

-the multi closed, and now getting things taken care of

-have a week off starting Friday...very excited...

-nancy is getting me all positive again cause she is great

my positives for today

-pay day at work

-off from today till next friday(thank god)

-heading to jersey to get away for a couple few days

-planning a miami trip in march for my birthday

-heading to the multifamily to have everyone sign new leases, and the person moving in as of the first is supposed to have the money/sign the lease...

-worked out yesterday, and am soar today(hate it but I love it)

-next week, I gotta get back into really searching hard for more deals since I have been preoccupied with making sure things are set up with the multi and getting things straightened out

-

So though it's rainy, cold and dreary in my neck of the woods, today is a great day! It's fall, there's no doubt about it and it's one of my favorite times of the year.

Friday also means today is a payday (just like Marc!) and that's always good.

Friday means that tonight is my first every conference call with my IL/WI MasterMind RE Group with members from the DG site. I expect it will be great!

Friday is also the day today when I'm checking in with the realtor on my REO offer. I have keep positives thoughts about it being accepted.

And, other positives today are reading about the great things happening for Marc! Travel, the multi-closing, new lease signings and a new tenant. How wonderful!!!!! Enjoy your week off, Marc!

It's a beautiful sunny day today with highs supposed to get up into the 60's. Nice!

I'm so pleased with last weeks RE conference call for the mastermind group I belong to that I feel energized for this week's work.

I stumbled onto a realtor yesterday who has put me on an automated list for reos & short sales in my area. The initial list had 155 on it so I have quite a few to sift throught this week.

And those are a few of my postitives for today!

Congrats again to Marc, a big positive. Well I am home today a little under the weather. Feels like someone through a glass of sand down my throat, no pain just a bit of discomfort. Thought I will check in on everyone since I have been quite busy with work and everything else. Had a bit of a set back earlier last week, but I an resilient. I still know who in in control and he will bring me through as he always does.

My positives:
- God is still the center of my every being.
- I have contacted a real estate agent today to try and do bird-dogging.
Do not know how that will work.
- I have decided to take a rest today as well as do some meditation. It
is good for the soul.
- Just mixed, some honey with lemon and olive oil to eradicate that bug.
