Real Estate Success Academy

Real Estate Success Academy

I ordered Dean's books not too long ago, and the day i received the books i got a call from the Real Estate Success Academy. The price for this coaching is quite pricey. However, I do have available credit cards, but i have one qualm about the whole program....

If these coaches teach other people how to do deals and make $, then they must be top experts, correct? Why wouldn't they just devote 100% of their time to doing real estate and work for themselves? I mean, if i were an expert in doing real estate (and making a lot money at it), i certainly wouldn't have a 9-5.

I'm definitely not trying to sound disrespectful, its just my only quick with enrolling in the program.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome,

Only you will know if adding this expense on your credit card will be the right thing for you to do. I did and I've gotten a lot of great advice and a personalized learning plan. The coaches fill in the gaps when necessary and are there in a pinch. As far as the price it is more reasonable in comparison to other companies that offer the same type of services. I actually got interested in Real Estate through another company, did my homework and decided Dean's group was by far the better investment and the action this website sees is incredible. You need to look at it as an investment. And if you do just one deal, it will more than have paid for itself and any knowledge you gain will lead you down a path of financial freedom. And yes it is tax deductable.

I joined the academy back in August and I,m very happy with the advise I have received. The learning plan is great with printable workbooks and a copy of the coachs guide for each lesson. The work books have forms to use that are very helpful. Also, remember that if you do 5 deals in your 1st year Dean will refund your money!

One last thing, if the information provided by the coachs is correct and helps you, does it really matter what their motive or status in the business is?

Good Luck conan7

the coaching element

Your question is a good question. The answer really isn't simple. I coach all the time. Sometimes for money and sometimes for free. When I coach people I do it for a couple reasons. Number 1 To help someone succeed. You alter history when you show someone how to get free thru investing. You will never know where the influence will end, it could go on for generations.Number 2 when you teach someone real estate investing you are actually teaching yourself at the same time. You will improve your own skills and profit to a greater degree. Number 3 when you coach and get paid for it it creates another stream of income which is always a plus. Can a good real estate investor make more doing a deal than the same time spent coaching? Absolutely! I fall in that trap all the time. People beg me to coach them. I only have so many hours in the day so I charge a hefty price for my time.

In closing I ask you this question. How do you think Dean feels at night when he goes to bed knowing he decided to share his knowledge with the world and the lives that have been changed because of that decision?

I can tell you that I thank God for that decision and also for my coach Casey Poppinga 4 years ago.

I don't know how many people are actually refused acceptance in to the Success Academy. However, they are looking for motivated people. When you succeed as a student, it is also a success for the academy.
They coaches are successful investors. Believe it or not, lots of people like to give back. Not everything is about money!

If you are going to be skeptical, its not going to make for success. You have to believe in what you do and who you do it with.

coachs

how much does it cost to get involved in the academy anyways and hiring a coach?

success academy

Hi everyone,

We joined the academy last September. We are currently putting together our 5 deal pack for our refund.
I am not sure on the costs, I think there are different levels so the costs are not the same. But it comes with a gaurantee!!!! We will get all of our money back. I haven't heard of anyone else offering such a great deal.

I haven't been using my coaches as much as I should I am sure of that. But everytime I call they have given me confidence and new ideas I hadn't thought of. That makes me a better investor. I don't know if they get paid and it really doesn't matter. I kind of see it as Pay it forward and if I have the opportunity to be a coach I would love to. I am far from a superstar but I do love to share what I have learned this far. My husband and I have done some very creative things I would have never thought up without Deans help. I am with Matt, I thank God Dean decided to share his knowledge. I say take the chance if you are truly motivated it will change your life.

Well one of coaches must be a philanthropist because he won't take no for an answer. He calls my house weekly.

Understanding!

I feel somewhat as you do. If it sounds to good to be true. However, there are always two sides to any coin. I had joined Big Brothers and though I am not a wealthy person, in fact, just able to keep a float myself, I find that money is not everything when you can help to change the lives of others for the better. One thought is that they have a substantial net worth and do not have to spend countless hours devoted to getting started. Thus are willing to fulfill a different need of giving back. Another, is in the case of Carol Stinson who works alot and still tries to help others simply because she has faced adversity and has overcome them. Carol has my deepest heart felt respect as she has had to overcome a great many obstacles and has done so with Integrity and dignity. Hopes this helps somewhat.

From a coach

Maybe I can shed some light on this one. I am one of Dean's coaches and have been coaching for almost 9 years now. Matt is correct. You learn a ton when you coach. I know what is going on in every corner of the country right now. I have friends and connections in every part of the country right now. I have access to information, and deals, and money, and strategies, and experiences from hundreds of people throughout the years. I told my little brother (who I coached) that I had about 300 years of real estate experience. Think about all of the information (which is always passed on to new clients) that I have gained over the years.

It is VERY fulfilling to see the difference in peoples lives that comes when they see what the possibilities from investing are. And I am happy to say that many of the people I have worked with over the years have become very close friends, and some are even training with us now. (That's you Matt!!!)

I have taught two of my brothers how to invest, starting in their 20's, and one now owns income property and an art gallery, the other picked up enough equity from his first deal to pay for his MBA.

During the time we are in the office, we are constantly networking and putting deals together. Imagine being in a daily environment where real estate investing is the topic surrounding you constantly. Imagine being surrounded by coaches and hearing their perstpectives, and hearing the successes their clients are having. What kind of powerful information do you think you could absorb in that type of environment? It really is a beautiful thing......

Hopefully that sheds some light on the mindset of a coach.
