OfflineHey everyone, this is Andrew Smetak and here I am in the firesky resort in Scottsdale, Arizona not being able to sleep because of all the knowledge and wisdom I've gained here at the EDGE EVENT. Ive met a lot of wonderful, knowledgable , friendly, like-minded people who all shared something in common...Entrepreneurship - capitalists, "the crazy ones" like Dean said. I was (and still am) so ectatic and grateful to see people like Stacey and Joe Jurek, Chad Merrihew, Carol Stinson, Matt Larson, and DEAN GRAZIOSI in person face to face knowing that these people are REAL and LIVING THE DREAM!!! I have to be honest though, I was nervous and excited the while time because I couldn't believe I was talking to Dean or Stacey or Joe. It felt like I was dreaming and I had to pinch my self to see if this was really a dream or not lol. During the Edge event I had goosebumps everytime I felt Inspired or connected to the person speaking about deals or success or how ordinary people like you and I can achieve results like them or maybe better!!! So I've learned a lot in the past 3 awesome days and glad I came here alone (which was scary and not that I wanted to come alone because everyone thinks Im crazy at home for doing this 
. It was also my first time going on a plane, never been on one until now at the age of 23 (i know that's embarrassing lol). Once I get back home I know I will succeed and take action on this wonderful bussiness and thanks to Dean and everyone elsefor letting me know its ok to be one of "the crazy ones", the other 3% population of the world that is stepping out of the box to do something different from ordinary people. All you DGers who didn't go because of skeptisim or because of the lack of funds or friends or family telling you not to go because its different or stupid. Do your best to make it next year no matter what and hopefully by that time I will be able to tell my success story of REI (DID I MENTION I AM A NEWBIE ) So take care everybody and God Bless!

My husband and I are also newbies, and really wish that we could have made this event this year. I know we missed out on a lot of great fellowship with "like-minded" REI - and we are determined to make it there next year! Thanks for sharing your expierience and enthusiasm, and wish you the best of luck to making your dreams true as well!!

on your REI career! There is NO BETTER REI event out there! You are on the fast track to SUCCESS! It was PHENOMENAL, especially for newbies! I waited a whole year because I could not afford to go last year and hubby was still skeptical. THIS year HE WENT WITH ME and he thoroughly enjoyed it! I am SO excited for what the future holds!
Is anyone still at the hotel? Would love to come down and network some more! I didn't get to meet everyone, although I was hoping I would get to!
There were almost 200 people there.
Went to Tarrytown Live Event...Was Disappointed! Wish I had known a head of time when Edge 2011 was being held!!
If I am not mistaken..2012 event on a cruise??? Definitely will not be making that! Do not do cruises! Had very BAD experience and will NEVER go on one again!!
