Dean's book motivates people - even at the ocean side pool, while on vacation!

As I read your post .... I was thinking to myself ... WOW!

I was just sitting by the poolside while visiting Ft. Lauderdale last month doing that very same thing !!!! Not only soaking up the rays, soaking up all the information and knowledge from reading Dean's book, that I can use to become successful!

I would like to think I am fairly new to the DG family, so to speak. I've committed myself to following and using the tools, information and support that Dean and others such as yourself have provided by his books and through this site. I'm at the point where I am ready to market myself. I've been telling others that I'm into real estate investing and quite the responses one gets. There are the nay sayers. I'm in the process of recording my automated information scripts, faxing out my ad's looking for realtors and mortgage brokers, placing ads, flyers, cards, signs, and have my list of local banks that I will be visiting personally, getting a team together, you name it. So, I've taken the jump.

Now that I have jumped, its sink or swim. I'm determined to be another successful story. I plan on swimming through a little rough water, but have to believe that past that I will climb the hill back up to success, able to look back down, only to go off to find another hill to climb ..... because there's no way I'm jumping again. (lol) I not only want to disprove the nay sayer's but want to prove more to myself personally that it is indeed achievable and provide a better life for myself and family. I want to be living on the beach. Thanks for your support!

That's a nice story...reading about real estate and building that infrastructure of knowledge beats any novel for me.

I can't think of a better way to spend time whilst at the beach, if I am lucky to be there. Once you get it, that's it... it's yours forever, so long as you up-date your knowledge. Besides, DG books are user friendly, it's not like reading a book on philosophy which in my opinion is so taxing in respect of your time.

I agree, marketing is the key to success, first you've got to know how to bring them in, when you know that refine, refine, refine, and I promise you that it will only get better.

I take one of Dean's books with me too. I was in the waiting eoom at the doctor's office today re-reading "Profit Frem Real Estate Right Now". I also have it with me at work eight now.

as I read your post, I am reminded of how long it has been since I have been to the beach. I miss my monthly trip to the I-4 corridor and have to make it a priority to start traveling again.

Going on A 10 day RV/boating trip with the kids and grand kids. We are leaving this Saturday.25% of 1 of my deals is paying for the whole trip for 6 adults and 4 kids! It has been a while since I read Dean's books. I will be taking 4 of them with me for late night and rainy day reading. Can't get totally away from REI. Will have my blackberry and laptop with me for my daily business activities!
