trust me i take u guys wherever i go so u didn't miss my birthday
my DG family was with w/ me in spirit...it's all good. i'm glad i
came to my journal, it's been a couple of days...actually 4 days...way too long for me. anyway, i was thinking about u and then i came to the journal to find a post
from...super cool!
as i was getting ready for my God time and bedtime, i got an inspiring idea...
read rina's journal..hmmm. u see i tend to be hard on myself (and it's overdue that i get rid of that pattern). to help me create a new one, i needed a mental picture of a mom, wife, rei instead of the one i have that triggers me to be hard on myself.
and who better to inspire my new image? wala... feeling better... thanks rina

How are you finding the classes? I just got DG's book and I'm thinking about signing up for the academy, but I can be a Nervous Nelly sometimes. I'm motivated, but I like to research things before jumping in with both feet.

it's like being in school but better. i get to call the teachers as much as i need without the worry of failing a grade... it's all on me but that's empowering.

had a bizzaro day as far as schedule goes...
i got a response from my friend who is getting divorced re: their 4closure
situation...he asked me to wait til after the divorce b4 i contacted his wife about it. i feel bad about the whole thing but i really wish i could help. more will be revealed.
confession... i wish i could skip the studies and jump into a deal like northwest did but after re-reading his post i felt terrified... guess i have some growing to do. i also wish that i could blink and have a buyer appear for my friend who needs to sell his property. i'm trying to get past my fears asap.
i am going over the assignmentof contract lesson(turtle style of course) to help me focus and take it in i have to write as i go and that makes an hour lesson turn into three hours or more but that's how i learn best when studying something.

keep pushing forward Cynthia. I wish you all the luck and with your hard work and studying I'm sure everything will work out.

Cynthia. I have to say I get a little nervous at times also. I guess we all do because REI is new to us. Dont let that stop you. I am really uncomfortable working on the deal i am working on but am not going to let that stop me from doing it.
I guess it is like they say. You have to push the fears aside and just do it. Then it will get easier on the next one.
As far as your friend goes, Did he try calling some of the adds like on backpage.com and craigs list. you know, WE BUY HOUSES CASH and lists like that. It doesn't hurt for him to call a few of them.
Good luck moving foward. You will be fine with the coaches backing you through your deals.

i am listing the actions i took today toward my progress...

i finished the lesson on assignments of contract, it took a while but i have to say it feels great that i went through it and of course i wonder how much is really in my noggin(thank goodness for the advisors) because when the time comes i've got my posse ...LOL!
i listened to dean's blog and of course i was already hiding what i'm doing from people.
i called my academy partner.
i did my DG e-mails.
i called the advisors( i feel like a president saying that, it makes me laugh) and got some really cool answers. well, the answers r cool but the fact that i understood them was even cooler, if u know what i mean.

Yea It would be silly not to take advantage of the current housing situation.It is also a bonus being able to help someone out along the way also.I think Matt is right in what he said will happen a few yrs down the road. I would like to get as many properties as possible so I can cash them in later on. this will definately be in the history books years down the road how people became REI millionaire's over night.
You sound like you always going 100 miles an hour lol. I get tired just reading your posts!!

there are foundational lessons but nowhere near the length of college courses
and one builds upon the previous. no worries... i'm sure it'll will all come together... i know this to be true because of so many that have paved the way for us. to help me hold my belief and vision in place and keep going, i watch the video testimonials from other students. visuals and emotions r key to making dreams come true and i always feel uplifted and replenished afterwards. heck, we have to go @ this from all angles. all the best for u, anne.

earlier in my posts i shared about my 14 month old boss who has me working endless hours...
well, gabriella has a sitter now which allows me to give more
time to doing my rei lessons.

i learned something recently, if my desires and beliefs don't match then my desires can't come. i realized that my desire is to do a deal but my belief
is that i'm not ready or am not suppose to until i finish and pass my lessons. see the conflict? it has to do with traditional education ... you can't practice being a lawyer until u pass the barr... but i know that rei is nothing like traditional education. now i have to go past that limited thinking.

i am amazed how when we r determined to do something, the universe delivers...
my babysitters's dad is a contractor... God's delivery system is better than fed ex!!! He brought a contractor right into my living room for crying out loud!!!LOL

great news... i just zipped (it took a few hours) through one of my lessons and it felt exhilirating. the last one felt like i was cramming for a final or midterm...
i know it's all mental, everything is psychosematic(boy, that's a big word).
i'm in a great state of mind today... there's a no brainer. the lesson was only the beginning...got great assignments to complete...oh goody.

i have come to realize that i go into withdraw when i don't get to engage in my rei activities... i even resent it(not cool)...so right now i need to re-connect to why i want this and get myself in a better frame of mind.
ya know, my journal is like a tale of an "rei's confessions"...ain't holding nothin' back!!!

gosh, i just re-read cbr's post about repitition... good to know i'm right on track... geez, it hurts and i haven't done 3 deals yet...i swear labor was easier with no pain killers! just kidding.
and another thing while i'm venting... i was in the car with my boyfriend of 6+ yrs. and he had the nerve to say that after being home with gabriella for 2 yrs., it would be great if i went back to school, got a career and earnned a 'good' salary. this re thing is ****. in that moment invisible daggers were flying @ him. all i could picture was me rocki' and rollin' in rei with a big cool aid smile! i thought to myself very loudly...by the time she's 2, i'll have made it!!!(along with some thoughts i won't mention LOL). anyway,i'll show him ****!!!
P.S. she'll be 2 on dec. 14, 2009. stay tuned, it's gonna be a good one!!!

Wow Cynthia.. it seems like you don't need any motivation. Keep rockin and rollin and following the steps.. I know it will work out. Keep telling yourself there isn't another option and follow the path laid. If you get off course.. there are always so many knowledgeable/motivational people here that will put you back on course, (although it seems you need any). I look forward to reading more of your journal and watching you succeed.

today i 'stole' some time to go on the computer. i came across an article on cnn that was loaded with 'bad' news about the re market. anyhows, one thing lead to another and i ended up finding sites that r great resources. it was like halloween when u go to a house and get a bunch of goodies! one in particular had lis pendis lists so i looked up my town. this was huge bcz i could see that there were a bunch of pre-4closures in my backyard and some literally down the street! the point is that it got me emotionally involved with what is beyond my walls and that's what makes inspiration which leads to action...the vision is alive and well!
