i am working on my lessons.i am upto lesson 1. i completed the orientation and the overview which were lessons in themselves . can i just say that every time i get to the action items i get anxious. amazingly trippy. i wish i could devote more time (not complaining or making excuses) to making progress however right now i am working full-time(84 hours a week and on call nights) for my 1 year old L.O.L.. i am giving all nap times to making progress with my exciting and scary rei business building adventure. so for now my pace is turtle-like but i feel fantastic to be in the game at all. attending the academy alone has given me such a boost. i'm feeling like king kong one minute then i have to do some action items and POOF i'm minnie mouse L.O.L.
ahhh...the joy is in the journey not the destination. Do i want to be a r.e. millionaire? ABSOLUTELY!!! but i want to enjoy,love,appreciate every step of the way.

hello again...
okay people here goes...i listened to dean's messages for the 24 hour line
for both buyers and sellers. i checked out rei club sites dean recommended. i called another agent and scheduled a time to meet to go over my strategy bcz i have some vibes about my 1st one. i checked out dean's free website offer. i called my academy buddy but we'll talk tomorrow, today was a bad time. and now i basically look like a deer staring at headlights on the road.
i reaaly should make an offer on the rehab property but like i said i'm a deer on the road.

i've been out of touch with everyone...i haven't been journaling. i had to take a short leave of absence. i needed to really focus on letting God take care of me.
i know u care and i love that about u. so...i want to share that i am out of the situation i was in before. and that i am feeling a lot better, stronger. Gabriella is with her dad for now. i am going in a new direction and of course i anticipate that rei will finance it LOL. but seriously, i miss her terribly and only God can keep holding it together for me. well, that's a load off. meanwhile, today is really the first day i have taken action to reach out to the DG family. i also called the academy to revive me. i get scrambled easily with all the re info and lessons and strategies. when i called today, i received one thing to do and that is to go after double closings. eric told me it's a great no money down strategy with a higher profit margin than the others. i had told him that i didn't know which one to do...lease-option, iee, aff, what greg's done, what dean's new book says, boy i've been on overload just to get started. oh well, i am feeling empowered nevertheless. building my buyers list...where have i heard that b4? why not ask me to build a pyramid too LOL?

today on the quest toward building a buyers list, i made 2, yep, count 'em 2 phone calls and perspired like i was on stage in front of 1000's of people.
but it felt good to do it(not the sweat part). i left a message for one and the other turned me down. it's nenvertheless a beginning.

i got a call back from a woman i know whose husband builds houses. she said she would give some thought toward who she knows that fits the investor profile. meantime @ work i reached out to a woman who has had a title company for 25 years and she said she has an investor. i'm going to meet with her next week. and i will continue to reach out and cultivate relationships to find investors.

i went to meet a woman who owns an abstract co. i approached her while i was working @ the restaurant. i asked her if she knew any investors and described
what i was looking to do. she said she did. today was the follow up. it went well. i asked the q's about what type of props they'd be interested in and she was great about it. now all i have to do is find some props. i know i need to build a list but having my 1st on the list feels really really good.

ya know... dean is so right...the life stuff that is not in tune with rei
has its own attention snatching power but i venture to say that the power of our will to focus is much more powerful. i say this from the core of my being bcz i have been having to do this for tuning up other areas of my life. we're not gonna get into that story. God only knows the pain of having a desire and not going with it. anyone relate? i'll tell you, there are many who have cracked their code and that is magnificent. and there r those of us on the cusp. either way we must use the power of our will to look toward the relief of our new-life-breathing stories.

i just bought deans books, "profit from realstate right now" and "be a realstate millionaire". i have read about half of profit from realstate right now and im soooo ecsited to start investing and using deans great strategies! i just debating on signing up for the success team, and am wondering what you guys think about it? cause i need some help on where to start.

Do not give up, keep on pushing ahead. You will get there! I felt exactly how you did at times but I realized you have to look ahead. You can't look down on yourself, just look ahead and know that success is soon to come. It is not going to happen over night, and you can't get there by yourself, but you will get there!! You just got to work at it!

Feeling down and out happens regardless of what it is...Whether its real estate, family, a job, or life in general...Everybody goes through that...When you feel like that, things seem to be so much harder to accomplish...But keep moving forward with life(not just real estate) and things will get better...For some reason, things always seem to work out, even when things are at its worse...Gotta have faith!!!
Sometimes ya gotta take a step back, and breath...Not worth getting overwhelmed, or down to the point where you can't get back to feeling good about things...
Rina said that there is no shame in taking a break, and that is so true...If you keep pushing at something, but it gets to be to much, it will only make things 10 times worse...Take things slow if you have to...

specifically i mean forming mastermind groups to brainstorm. i think that would be supercool if there were clusters of these groups around the country.
