Today i will finish doing the stone wall in the bathroom at my customer's home. Look for some new for rent properties. For next weeks phone calls. Trying to prepare for the funeral. It took most of the day yesterday. Come home and if not raining ride my bike to the beach in the evening. Work on the computer emailing realtor's. Redo my ads on craigslist. Pray and ask GOD to continue to give me the strength to keep going in troubled times.

The weekend is finally here. Today was last day of school for my son. Hurray! My customer is out of town and so this means I can dedicate my time to locating buyers. And re-doing my business cards. Plan on attending the real estate club since I missed the last one due to the funerals. So this weekend is all clear to focus. Looking foward to success..........

Great to hear your plans for the weekend. Sounds like a great plan to locate some buyers and build that buyer's list. The conference call with Dean and Jeff really made us all know how key this is. It is always a good idea to have plenty of business cards and when you get more is a good opportunity to update them. The real estate club is a great opportunity to meet others and network. Of course it rained. I had planned on starting out giving cards out at garage sales. So I spent time looking at for rent signs. To call on this week. I have one appt. On tuesday with the ones I found last week. I was able to follow up on the statius of a home I've been watching since before I joined DG. Fond ou today that there is a sheriff sale on the 20th of july. I have previosly called him last year when he had it for rent. It was listed with a realtor and it didn't sell. Then he attempted to sell himself and now it's being foreclosed on. The price is too high. He's upside down in value. So now he's at the point he must sell it. My goal is to get to him immediately.(Supergirl is on her way!). I was able this weekend to make contact with a realtor connection in New York. He had left his card in a live food resturant I visited this past week. I had laid the card down and saw it over the weekend and decided to call him. He was very eager to work with me! I'm so excited about the direction I'm going. Wish that things were a little faster. But I'm going with the flow. It's working. How's things with you? Continued success.......Lubertha

I'm so glad that I finally found the owners info and phone number to this preforeclosure. For 6 dollars I found what I have been looking for the past month in five minutes! I'm making progress with this. So I will call him tommorrow. It's back to work on my bathroom renovation job. Tomorrow I have to sheetrock a wall and prep the tub walls with a moisture barrier, replace a door jam. I'm so excited about this renovation! The completion will put me in a better financial situation. One step closer...Yepper, just one step! Ther's nothing more powerfull than amind that is already made up! It's my time! just one step.............

Trying to get back on track. Just spent the last 24hrs feeling like I was in a bad dream! I still can't believe it! My idol, my inspiration for as long as I could remember back. Michael, Gone! I pray that God continues to wrap his arms around his family. And to give them the strength to survive the pain that lies ahead. In the name of the F/S/HS.

Lubertha It sounds like you work as hard as I do. I'm a woman of many skills too. I'm getting to a place in my life that I'm ready to let someone else to the hard physical stuff but when needed I can still swing a hammer and fix the plumbing etc. But I'm looking forward to when I can just pay someone to do it while I go make money working smarter insead of harder. I admire you and your hard work and send you lots of strenght.

So many things lined up for the day. Have to run to the township to speak to an official in regards to a commercial space. Hopefully this will be the start of a commercial deal. We are so excited. Then I am off to draw a sketch of a bathroom layout for a tile job. This is a Jazz club coming to my area. I got the lead thru a agent that I was talking with referred from an mortgage broker. You never know who you might meet! This place will bring joy to my heart. Finally a place that will feature music that is the core of my soul, Jazz. Nothing like Nancy Wilson or ELLA and Milt Jackson! It will be an honor to take part in creating this. Oh well better get started.......
