OfflineOk let me tell you my first deal I ever went through! My mom and dad saw a cheap property for 40,000 (2 houses on a 1 lot in TX, CHEAP!) on ebay! So my parents told the guy he wanted him to hold it so he could get he loan. (one thing my parents should have gotten a contract to hold the property!) so they got the loan and guess what the guy said, he sold it! so my parent went to look for another one and they found one for 20,00 (a peace of JUNK but we didn't know because we didn't look at it, mistake 2!) So my parents bought it and bam our life came to night mare ville! ok we drove our cars up there then all our stuff and there was the scary trashed house! It costed a lot of money to move up there! This place was in the middle of no ware! Ok think of this! A family coming from Phoenix, AZ (A BIG CITY) going to no ware BUG VILLE! lol but seriously there was poisiness spiders every ware! Mice the size of rats and my parents thought that it was a bad place for us and they didn't want to loose us, kids to a stupid spider that had a whole bunch of eyes! 
So we moved back here and end up spending the rest (bad disition!) (Mistake 3! You shouldn't move some ware without seeing the place in person!) Now that we all look back we should have saved the money for now! And buy a property in this market! :'(
But this bad experience taught me so much! I'm almost glad it happened but I wish I could have known without experiencing it!

Sold it to a friend and whats funny is that they sold it to! This realtor is getting rich off this property! It has been trancfored to diffrent owners like A LOT!

At least you guys learned something from that bad experienced !! Just hang in there and you will better for your family in the future with your talents.

Everyone makes mistakes. Dean had lost all of his $ at one point before he had his huge success. It is our mistakes which make us stronger, you guys learned from the mistake and now you have a better outlook and know what you are doing. Mistakes are a part of life, sometimes the greatest mistakes can turn into the biggest success. You can make do with what you have and turn it into something. You will see.

It's nice to learn from others' mistakes. You watched your parents go through some stuff. That will help you avoid the same mistakes in the future. Believe me, I think ALL parents WISH their children would learn from the parents' mistakes instead of having to (insisting on) learning things the hard way.
My family did a lot of moving, too, when I was a kid (16 times before I was 18), but we never MADE $. It feels good now to use RE for a profit. You'll be so glad you have the tools Dean provides to help you stay well-equipped to be a huge success in REI! We'll be watching you , Grace!

I like your attitude about not having a jet. I know lots of people that have alot of money and they are very simple people. Of course I know some are very materialistic too. Money is not everything. All I am concerned is paying bills and have nice things and do some travelings.

Thats a good reason why you want to be a rich girl or a woman in the future to help other people and sounds like you have a big heart for others like me. I would love to have enough money to do lots of charity works and make donations. I would love to help out with the St. Judes for children. So we both have the same attitude and will go the right direction sooner or later.

and bless when you help others no amount $$$$$$ can duplicate act of kindness & helping your fellow man. A child & family being able to come home to something that is their own will make you smile & cry and leap into air with joy b/c you help someone who might of otherwise been ignore by everyday ordinary person.
