They are frozen 7 months, melting or refreezing for 2 months and in an icebox for 3!!
Nine months of winter, 2 months of poor sledding and one month of steam cooked sushi!

Congrats on your "Superstar"-ness and the additional badges you have received of late. Isn't it funny how excited we get when we get added little things! I'll never forget the day I got my "wings" and I went around the house saying "I have wings, I have wings!!" My husband thought I was nuts. If the DG team only knew how excited they make us by these little extras I actually think they should have more than a "deal diamond"....maybe a "10 deal" diamond and a "25 deal" diamond and a 100 "deal diamond". Or maybe we should have rubies and emeralds until we get our "100 deal diamond". How fun!

I'll have to check out Redfin. Sounds awesome!

Yesterday I spent a large chunk of my day at the med center with daughter #1. Prognosis: Pneumonia. YUCK!

One of my four legged grand babies has not been feeling well for the last couple of weeks. This one was my daughter's before she got married, so we have had her for 5 1/2 years. She is truly an angel in Maltipoo clothing! I never had dogs growing up so was quite blind sided by how much i love, love, love this dog!

Anyway, since Laura is so ill with Pneu, I took grandbaby to the vet today. Another chunk of day, all the traffic to their house, then to the vets and back home. I am so OVER traffic! (When I first moved to LA, I drove a limo for a year so I could have a flexible schedule for acting) Got my FILL of LA traffic! Nothing like seven lanes on each side of the freeway traveling at 80 MPH! Now visualize those 14 lanes total exiting on to the surface streets-most of them two lanes each side, some one lane each way. Yeah, now it's a snail's pace.

Then, I come home to DG.com gone crazy!

What a day it has been.

By the way, don't know results of bloodwork on grand until tomorrow. Just know it cost over $400.

I like diamonds. I'm high maintenance.

I am always amazed when you have the time to pop in. You stay so busy!

It IS fun to get the awards! I think they realize that we get excited and figure it is a very "economical" reward system.

I like the idea of different levels of jewels. (As noted in the previous post, I LIKE jewels)

Redfin looks like it has a lot of info here. But Michael in MN and Bill in Cinci say not so good there.

Karen, I fell asleep and woke up to your journal So, THIS is where everyone hangs out! I read lots of posts, mostly with my laptop propped up on one side as I'm lying down, which is not conducive to typing, so I just read. And read, and read, and READ. Which is what we're told to do, right?

Anyway, LOVED it all Lot's of good stuff happening in here. I predict that by the end of this month, you will have your Realtor.

It's really good to be part of this family. I get joy reading all the posts and banter back and forth. It feels good! I know, I need to post more about my progress (which *should* be more), but I tend to spend a lot of time reading and not doing as much as I should. I *did* go the the Insider's Edge presentation that they had here in Phoenix AZ last week. Lots of good stuff, and new programs to purchase, of course. I already am a member of the RESA (and sadly, farther behind it than I really should be - long story there), but me and a friend (should I say "partner" of sorts) purchased all three programs. We were supposed to have had come up with the money by the start of the training (which started Thurs) but didn't. So, we had to give it up (VERY disappointed, but hey). So, I guess I need to get on my RESA lessons (since I'm paying on that monthly, and I want to have my five deals by the one year mark so I can get my money back ). I have 8 more months left

Ok, L/O's. It's funny how there has been much talk about them here lately, because I've been thinking myself how these would be the way to go for now. So, I appreciate your postings on this. Thank you.

Another thing, VERY happy to have Bill back! What a scare! I was ready to... oh, never mind! I don't wanna get myself in trouble! And, I enjoy reading Jim's posts. VERY funny man And, to all the other Miss Belle followers - nice to see you all, I enjoy every one of you!

Ok, this has been long enough. I know you're still sleeping. You're like me - I'm a night person, and I went to bed after 4am this morning, but my four legged creatures (kitties) get me up around 7am to eat. I feed them, clean out their boxes (or I gag until I do) and go back to sleep. But, this morning I had to finish your entire journal I enjoyed it very much

Got a message from the vet. Have to take grandbaby to get an ultrasound. That is going to take awhile again. But for our children and grands we do anything, right? Oh yeah, and our DG familia.

If anyone really wants to know...

Was at the Animal Hospital for several hours. By the time she and I got there, I had to carry her she was so weak. She has not eaten a bite for at least three days and for the 24 hours I had had her before going there, she had refused even a sip of water.

She is so cute. Her mother was a white Maltese (don't know if they come in any other colors) and her dad was a black poodle, hence Maltipoo. She is white with one black ear and a black patch around one eye.

They suspect she may have Addison's Disease which is an illness affecting the adrenal glands. And her thyroid level is very low. Gave her "liquids under her skin" (their wording). It was not exactly an IV and started her on thyroid meds. Will get some test results tomorrow and more later in the week.

I took her back home to my poor daughter who was a wreck because she couldn't be with her at the hospital due to HER having pneumonia. GEEEEZZZ!

By the time I got home I was having withdrawal I had missed this site. Looks like I didn't miss much today tho.

Tammy is in the mountains, Bill was down in KY hiding out from my kin and Jim and Shaun were having a boring conversation at Jim's place.

Since I am not a sports fan, I am going to go out looking at houses tomorrow. Tammy turned me on to one we might partner up on. Since she is out of town, I will drive by tomorrow and look in the windows.

I have got to get busy and tie up all my loose ends! I go back to work at my job in six days...

Sorry about the bout of icky health with the "kids" of both types. It does mess things up for everyone close.

Well I picked up some of the slack with Shaun. He posted about bird dogs and I pointed out that that was a poor professional name. We talked about it. (Mostly on PMs. Had a few with Sandi too.) I gave him the name Investor Property Scout and he edited his forum post. So it is official, bird dog is now "Investor Property Scout".
Sandi seems to have taken to that name too. So I hope everyone with adapt to that professional name. Gives a professional name to the occupation. Right!?
You and Bill seemed to like that when I brought it up about a week 1-1/2 week ago.
Hope you and Tammy can work things out. Put you 2 together talking and working together and who knows what could happen. CA won't be the same.
Hope your kin fok don't nab Bill. We need him back as he is. You don't need another hubby in that way.
