I'm excited and want to try real estate investing in the Valley. I just wanted to talk to someone who has done some real estate in this area. As you know houses are quite expensive where I live. Taking the first step is kind of scary. So if you can give me some advice, it will be very appreciated.
Trying to take action! I'm looking for someone in the Visalia - Fresno area who's making this work and wouldn't mind letting me watch. Learning the book stuff, but need the field stuff. Happy to trade deal equity for field knowledge.

Allow me to start by introducing myself. My name is Leonardo Cruz. I live in Long Beach California. I ordered Dean's book approximately 2 weeks ago and finished reading a week after that. I also ordered the book in audio format simply because I need to listen in order to understand. So since reading the book I have been using the audio recordings to go back through the book and review areas that may have been a little fuzzy on my first pass. Since then I have taken the following steps to start in my journey to real estate success and financial freedom. I have purchased the out going message service that Dean refers to in his book. I am working on recording my out going message (which should be up and running today) I am also pricing out some bandit signs on the internet and those I should have done and ready to go by next week, lastly I called Deans success academy and found out that I did qualify to join the academy but unfortunately I also found that I do not have the funds needed at this time to join. This only invigorated me and made me want to try even harder. That brings me here today. I would like to find an investor who is using Dean's techniques out here in the LA area to be my mentor. I am willing to share in my profit with said investor. I expect that this person will guide me through the process of making money in real estate and through several of Dean's methods. I can set aside 20-25 hours a week to real estate. I am very motivated to becoming financial secure. I have big goals and big dreams and most of all I know that they can only be accomplished through hard work. I hope I can find someone in the LA area who is willing to help me out if not. I hope that I can at least find a mentor here in California who can help walk me through my first steps.
On a final not I would like to thank everyone here and hope to hear from one of the many investors out there. Lastly I promise to keep my future posts short and sweet from now on.

I was just wondering if I wanted to cater to a high end clientel so to speak how would I go about doing it? I mean finding people that want to spend on a property anywhere between $500,000-$1million plus. Where would I find those types of investors? Where would I find the RE agents that handle those high priced properties? This could turn out to be a niche don't you think? Or no?

One house at avilable in Palmadale west side of the freeway exellent locationwas purchased foe 280,00 now is only one sixty four but it can be worked for at leat for 120000.00 or 130000.00 needs work.
If anyone knows of any good real estate agents in Stockton or the surrounding area please send me their contact info. I havent been able to find a good ones. Most are just too jaded...
