OfflineHey DG family, well as i sat in church this morning enjoying some worship, the moment was shattered by a loud explosion followed by the church building shaking etc.! We kinda just sat there wondering what happened? We soon found out that a natural gas building had a gas leak and blew up just miles away from where we sat. The blast was felt over 20 miles away! Please your thoughts and prayers would be great, as a search and rescue is underway. It hasnt been confirmed yet, but there saying over 50 injured, and not sure how many dead yet. This all happened in middletown, ct. on 2/7/10 11.30 am.. Thanks Mike

I will most definitely keep those people in my thoughts and prayers! You never know when or what will happen at any moment. All we can do is pray for everyone to be safe and found. My prayers go out to the families and friends of the victims.

Hey Elaine, thanks so much! Life is so fragile, always appreciate what you have, and dont focus too hard on what you dont have, because in a breath everything can be taken away. ( IN GOD WE TRUST) mike Good news is they think that maybe the blast didnt hurt as many people as they first thgt..
That is really great to hear Mike. Good Lord willing alot less victims will be involved. You're right, life can be taken in just one breath, so we should all thank God for our time here with our family and friends and make the most of it.

I heard about this on the news. I use to live in Danbury Ct. My thoughts and prayers are with all who have experienced this explosion. Stay Safe.

It's amazing how God uses people to pray for people we don't even know. It's more like friends praying for friends. Everyone is sincerely in my prayers. God is never caught by surprise and He is always in control.
I also read about the explosion on Yahoo and my thoughts and prayers are with those involved.

Everyday is something. We have to pray and thank God for the moment, the next second is promised to no one. My prayers are with the well as well as the injured at this time. May God continue to Bless and Keep us all.
