Bandit Signs

There is always room for friendly competition! This does mean also that you are finding the best place to put the signs in your area. Possibly someone putting the signs out is getting some calls from this location. I would recommend that you contact the individual at your local city hall to find out the day they go around and collect signs, then put your signs out the next day. Possibly, you will get out there first and your competitor will feel that they should be putting their signs elsewhere.

you don't want people to think that both signs are from the same person/company, so make sure they look different. Possible sellers may call both investors; you may have something to offer that the competition may not...

I agree and disagree! lol Yes, it's free reign on locations. But I have this feel though as if it would be like two kids fighting in line at lunch to be first and at the head of the line. lol

ALTHOUGH if you look at it from a prospects perspective, if you drive the same route everday, same scenery you start NOT to notice things. So a bright (yellow) sign may catch an eye that had become immune to their surroundings.

I personally don't stick a sign right next to the investor that has out his printed signs (dark blue with tiedie letters - go figure)! and put them out SINCE I've put out signs. Did NOT see one sign bandit sign or I Buy Ad prior to immersing in the area. I'll work inspite of him (around/through or over). I've actually contacted his twice about about couple properties he was running. 1st time left just first name and number = nothing, 2nd time left name/number and said I was a local investor and looking to pick up a few properties in the area, let me know what he had and still never got a return call.

Don't allow someone else to control what you do or don't do. (unless they have a badge and a gun, then I'll take it into consideration, but can't promise anything! - HA!)

That activated people, esp. yellow letters done right. Make sure you hand write your bandit signs, and think outside the box. Use something like "Cash is Sexy... 4/2 for sale! 65% Below ARV ~ Call now! (602) xxx-xxxx" or lol... be creative. Put 'em near the interstate (if you have one near you) on the on/off ramps, and around popular neighborhoods in town.

www.signwarehouse.com is a good place to get yellow corrugated signs and wire stands, but shipping is expensive. I found that if you call them and talk real nice they will discount the price (a little) and throw in free shipping!

Well, I opened the box 'RBBP' after it arrived yesterday.
WHOA!
I started on Day 1: Finding The Right Realtor...

I put an advertisement on Trulia.com just as it said to. This morning I had 25 replys from local Real Estate agents and Realtors. After examining their answers, I chose 11 that I liked the answers of and I will call them today to do the inteview just as the instructions have laid out so simply.

I hope to find a couple that I feel comfortable working with. Not going to re-invent the wheel... Just keep taking action IS the key!
